Friendly Street Market reviews
7May be a bit on the pricey side (hence only 4 stars) but I'll tell you what.all of their goods are of superior quality and they definitely deserve a look-see. You be the judge.
Expensive, especially Barista Bean Lab, hosted inside. Good availability of discount produce.
There needs to be clear signage where the employee break tables are. There are some unlabeled picnic tables in a field. I was showing my counselor the manuscript of my graphic novel in that field because there was no indication whatsoever that it was a private area. A staff member proceeded to harass us in what seemed like a "nice" way, but was actually extremely passive and overkill, lasting several minutes and repeating herself as we were clearly packing up our things.
I don't think I will ever go back to Friendly Street Market, due to the actual nature of how rude this interaction was.
Every neighborhood needs a Friendly Street Market. Everything you need in a compact space, with committed and caring people to help you find just what you need.
One of the best local grocers in town, though a bit more expensive than bigger stores.
Definately a very "Eugene" grocer (in a good way), with a focus on more environmentally consious brands as well as a large variery of dairy free and vegan options of many foods. In addition to food, they have a wide array spices and herbs, and possibly more importantly, a diverse assortment of beverages, with lots of great sodas, and even more alchoholic drinks with plenty of both local and imported choices. From wines to beers to stouts to sake and many inbetween, they have something for everyone, and if you're looking for something new to try; this is the place.
I was told that (as a customer) I could not use the bathroom. Oregon Structure Specially Code requires buildings that serve food and provide seating have to also provide a bathroom.
What's not to like about this store
the name is exactly how you'll be treated there, like a friend
