Friends of Coos County Animals reviews
9My husband and I adopted the best puppy from FOCCAS. The rescue site made it easy to apply and as soon as I was accepted, I got to go pick her up! The staff is always there if you have questions, they make it easy with the vet visits as well. I love that you can meet the whole litter and pick who you want.
I feel so grateful for this organization. My puppy was very ill and had to be rushed to a vet. I needed help to save her and they took my call, were so kind over the phone, guided me to a vet in the area and helped aid me for the vet and recovery. I dont know what would have happened to my pup of not for their support. Thank you so much Im forever grateful
The facility is clean, and the staff are wonderful! Go save an animal instead of getting one from a breeder
We have little dog that got quite sick, Rocket, and they helped me get him to the vet. Also they got him fixed and shot for cheap thank you FOCC and snipped for your kindness and generosity!
I'm still experiencing so far they've been very helpful with helping me find my dog if anybody has seen Bella please contact me Bellingham Bella has been stolen again. I believe by the same person. I can't find where hes got her though. And I can't prove anything. So the police won't help me.
But I believe she's out at Lakeside. So if anybody sees her at Lakeside, if you guys could help me out and get my dog back, I'll be very happy again, she's really missed.
I was told to fill out an adoption application and I could pick up the kitten that following Saturday, I was denied with no reasons. Their application is beyond ridiculous in my opinion. I understand they want their animals to go to good homes but requesting home visits is a little too much to me.
Under staffed and bad hours.not to mention, they told me it would cost me to bring in a stray dog we found and saved! So now they charge you to bring in an animal if you save it? Wow
After we fostered and bonded with a wonderful, energetic puppy, we spent a month, hundreds of dollars on garb, safety equipment and nutritian took him to the Vet twice and gave him the most loving home Imaginable.
I then had a serious medical event and was hospitalized for a week during which my partner elected to primarily stay home with the little pup to assure he was properly cared for.
During my time in recovery, FOCCA suddenly, without warning stole him from her leaving her distraught and myself 200 miles away in the hospital unable to intervene which left us both sick with loss.
They were not professional about it, they did not allow us a review, were not willing to talk to me, just whisked him away and would not respond to our appeal.
I encourage you to carefully consider enrolling in their program as they were mean spirited, inconsiderate of the dogs best interest and unwilling to discuss remedy.
I've never been so disgusted with any agency or company ever. My last pup was with me 19 years, we waited 2 years before getting another, then this.
