This is the best vet I’ve been to. Every staff member is extremely professional, responsive, and compassionate, and you can feel confident that this is a veterinary office that has your pet’s best interest at heart.

Thank you to Sarah, the veterinary technologist who is excellent at her job. I really appreciated that she remembered my dog from our last visit and was able to administer care from a place of familiarity. Additionally, Dr. Stephens has worked with us twice now and has shown that he is an elite veterinarian who knows how to work with even the most anxious of dogs (like mine!) which greatly eases my nerves when bringing my dog to the vet.

Thank you so much to everyone on the team at Full Circle, you rock!

I have been taking my cats here for 15 years and everyone is amazing. They had such compassion for my little cat I had growing up and now are taking great care of my almost 15 year old. Very friendly and knowledgeable. As helpful as possible. I now live in NE and drive the 30 mins for some of the best care possible.

All employees from the front desk to the techs and vets are genuinely interested on your pet. We had a few concerns and Dr. Stuart gave us good advice and guidance.

Seriously the best Veterinarian I have been to in Lake Oswego. Thank you for taking such good care of Joey. I would highly recommend this clinic!

A frustrating experience. Disappointed. Wouldn't recommend.

I tried this location twice due to it's location and availability of appointments. The doctors mean well and try hard. The staff is very friendly towards the dogs and seem genuinely excited to see my dog when he arrives.

In my experience, the staff and doctors failed to treat my dog as a whole, instead only focusing on the presenting issue at the time. Much to the detriment of my dog's treatment.

As an example, my dog has chronic pancreatitis and was hospitalized multiple times in 2021 for the condition. When we needed post-hospital care for an unrelated ear infection, I saw the staff feeding my dog copious treats while weighing him and moving him around the facility. He has pancreatitis and is on a strict RX diet. Deviations from which can trigger his condition. When I mentioned this to the staff, they were surprised and had apparently failed to read his files as they weren't aware he has a history of pancreatitis.

The doctors routinely pushed blood work, cytology and pet care plans - when I'm getting care for my dog the last thing I need to navigate is a sales person.

After multiple visits at $200+ per visit, my dog's ear was still infected.

Another example, I needed medication to manage my dogs chronic pancreatitis. I called in requesting cerenia to ease his nausea. He is known to have chronic pancreatitis. The treatment approach is not new. Had they read his medical records in full they would have seen this is the case. They refused to do this without conducting their own exam first. Which I'm sure would have also included a strong push for blood work. I understand the hesitancy to prescribe a medication, but the complete lack of support here was the last straw. The doctor could have at least jumped on the phone with me to discuss.

If they read his records, they would know where we are at with his treatment. I shouldn't have to pay hundreds of dollars in fees for visits and diagnostic work just so the Full Circle Vet can feel that they are on the same page with the existing medical case. My dog has records spanning across 2021 as recently as September (at the time I called in) and additional work up wasn't something I felt was necessary as his condition is known. Owners should be given some level of autonomy and trust in caring for their own animal - and this was missing at full circle vet.

On the positives: one time my dog punctured his leg in his own crate somehow and Full Circle did a nice job treating that.

Bottom line: I think they're good for basic needs. My dog has a complex history that is critical to understand. I recommend they read medical records in full.

This is the second time we've been here, and I can't find words to say enough how good it was. This time we saw Dr. Frey for euthanasia of Pinto, our elderly sick bunny. As an animal rescuer, I've been through plenty of euthanasias, and not all of them have gone as I had wished. As a health care professional, I've seen life from both ends of the stethoscope, and I understand the pressures and challenges of clinical medicine. I have been to academically-oriented vets (and MDs) in the past; and, while they are usually smart and up to date, they often neglact the "softer" side of medicine; i.e, the healing effect of patient comfort and family support. We can't prevent illness and death; the best we can do is to optimize wellness, manage disease, and offer comfort and kindness to the dying.

Dr. Frey understood that she had three patients: our bunny, and us two humans. She gave us an incredible amount of her time. We went over the euthanasia procedure together in detail, and she addressed all my concerns. She gave Pinto a thorough physical examination to see if she concurred that it was "that time" and/or to offer alternatives if appropriate. She was very gentle with our bunny, who never seemed frightened. I was comforted to know that she agreed with our decision.

For most of us, it's impossible to euthanize a beloved companion animal without second-guessing ourselves. We tend to feel guilt-either that we did it too soon, or that we waited too long, or that we didn't properly attend to our loved ones during their final days. I think that's because we, as caretakers, tend to feel as though we should have been able to "fix" our ailing animals and that having been unable do so represents a failure, even though we know intellectually that this isn't true.

Dr. Frey understood our need to come to terms with our decision. She listened respectfully and with sensitivity to story after story about all the ways in which we had tried to give our bunny the best possible life, and what we had and hadn't been able to accomplish toward that end. I needed reassurance that we had been good guardians of our bunny and did right by her, and that now was the right time to offer her a peaceful passing. She offered that reassurance and more.

And peaceful it was! Despite the fact that it took a long time and even an extra injection to achieve anesthesia level sedation before the final "pink stuff" injection, Dr. Frey was right there with us, supporting and never judging and never even seeming rushed. When it was time for the final injection, Dr. Frey hit the vein so smoothly, despite the fact that it was hard to hit because the bunny's blood pressure was low from the sedative. Pinto passed quietly and gently, and Dr. Frey stayed with us while I took a turn listening to Pinto's chest to assure myself that she had, indeed passed.

I don't think I've ever been through a less painful euthanasia. Thank you, Dr. Frey and Full Circle Veterinary Clinic from the bottom of my heart.

While our golden retriever is VERY social, I think it really speaks to the quality of this vet that our dog LOVES to go. Ziggy usually drags me their door when I bring him in. Coupled with very honest advice, we’ve been very happy with Full Circle.

Dr Hawn is an avian vet and it's so hard to find good ones like her. However, because of covid-19, it's a drop off only. I want to be with my birds when they go in but instead I have to wait outside. Other than that, i think Dr Hawn is very kind and knowledgeable.

Full Circle is my favorite. They are not very convenient since I moved but a little inconvenience for the best care is worth the drive.

It is hard to find vets that actually know how to treat rabbits properly. Full Circle does. They work with Rabbit Advocates, the adoption agency from whom we adopted our bunny, and took good care of her. They took the time to explain how they treat rabbits, explained the vaccination and chipping process and how the chip worked, and were very kind.

They also went above and beyond to take care of my daughter. When we arrived, she was very motion sick from the heat and the long drive. They let her into the facility despite the lockdown policy, to cool off. She then barfed unusually high volumes in the bushes outside. When we left, they sent us with a bag of cold compresses, towels and a spare vomit bag (which my daughter filled before we left the packing lot so THANK GOODNESS). Really above and beyond empathy and care for a very woozy kiddo. And also, great vets for rabbits.

Much appreciated last minute care for a visiting cat. I have no cat experience and they helped me out immensely. I would recommend to all who live in LO. Compassionate is an understatement.

One of our birds was experiencing a health emergency and Full Circle was the only office in the area that would see her. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and the cost was very reasonable. I'm so happy for this crew.

Dr. Stuart and her caring kind staff have helped me to care for my two rabbits Lucious and Max. They are reliable, attentive and really care about the health of my rabbits; they understand that to us they aren’t just pets but part of our family. Thank you for all you do! We are very lucky to have you all!

I don’t leave reviews for any business… but this veterinarian office is honestly THE BEST veterinarians I have ever encountered in all the states I have lived in. They have been caring for a feral domesticated rabbit I found with life threatening injuries back in March of this year, and he is 6 months old now. I had to return today for another emergency visit (not related to the original injuries). Both times for the initial emergencies, when I called (during their business hours and I called at 7: 30 am) - they actually cared enough to make sure he could get in the same day and didn’t turn him away. They are knowledgeable and trustworthy. They are affordable. Every single employee has a personality of gold- they are all lovely. These people actually care about your pet and WANT to help your pet. Communication with staff is great. I drive an hour from Salem to come here… they are THAT worth it. If I have issues with any of my other small pets: Full Circle is where I will be headed! My pets will continue to be under their care until I move or they go out of business as long as nothing changes!
