16Cute seasonal restaurant which serves vegetable dishes from what they grow on the farm and meat that is locally sourced. The menu changes weekly but there is always some sort of pizza from their authentically built brick pizza oven. Service is very friendly and you’re sure to have a good time when you dine here. Also note that because of the limited space in the restaurant, reservations is required, so be sure to call ahead early to book.
My partner and I really enjoyed eating here. The food was beautifully prepared and the atmosphere was peaceful & welcoming.
Excellent service, excellent food, gorgeous presentation, good wine and good company. The only negative was our server trying to hustle us out for the next seating. After purchasing four meals and two bottles of wine as well as dessert. It wouldn't have been so bad except she came back to brow. Beat us a second time at which point my guest let her know that this was unacceptable. I felt sorry for her because I know it was her manager who sent her over to tell us this. She was the recipient of my friend's anger when in fact it should have been the manager who took the grief! Next time do better people!
Great local farmers market, with fresh baked goods (get a potato donut!), stonefire pizza oven, friendly staff, chilled beverages. We found this gem with friends after hiking Mary's Peak. Thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend!
Great farm to table food cooked perfect. Staff was amazing. Ambiance and location are also fantastic. Decent value too. Loved this place.
We love this place: excellent food, locally grown and organic. Great service, too. Fun ambience.
Took home a take and bake Chicken Pot Pie and I cannot sing it enough praises.this is the pie your grandma won the blue ribbon at the local country fair with! Slap you mawmaw good! Not to mention the potatoe donut in the glass case.never had a potatoe donut, well run and get yall one.light and crispy.yes, I said crispy.i cannot wait to try em out for lunch and dinner service.
It was ok, but I felt judged as soon as I walked in from both the customers and employees. I'm not "what would normally go to a farmers market type. "
GTF has beautiful produce - what makes them special are all the really unique things they grow. They always have fun heirloom and overall interesting veggies you don’t see at other farm stands or supermarkets.
My only gripe is that their produce is pretty spendy
Got some takeout dinners for a special event. Delicious as usual. We've also eaten in there and the service is good as well as the food. Only open for dinner Thursday to Saturday
Visited this great restaurant with a group of friends. It was a wonderful experience.
The place is a farm that grows and sells its produce and uses them in their restaurant. It’s a cool experience.
First, the store is pretty cool. Lots of great fresh vegetables and local goods.
The ambiance of the restaurant was low key. Tables are socially distanced and there’s lots of ventilation. Good, safe space. The large pizza oven sits at one end of the room. There is nothing pretentious here.
The service was friendly and efficient.
The table enjoyed two salads. First they are huge! These salads are to share unless you want to make a meal of them. I shared a romaine, tomato and peppers salad with a buttermilk dressing and crushed croutons. It was one of the best salads I’ve ever eaten! The GTF salad had a nice mix of greens and endive with a light, delicious dressing. Another hit.
We enjoyed the margherita, veggie (broccoli, tomato and sweet onion) and Blanca (white) pizzas. All were great with a thin, tasty crust. A small is enough for two people.
I had a roast chicken dish with Israeli cous-cous and an eggplant puree. It was really excellent with one caveat - the chicken (while tender, juicy and tasty) was VERY salty. Perhaps it was brined. I’d strongly suggest less salt. I had to stop eating the last piece because of excessive salt.
My wife and another friend had the pan seared albacore tuna and found it super tasty and perfectly cooked (seared outside, raw inside). It was served with pickled peaches, fennel, peppers and lobneh (whatever that is). It was really tasty with a hint of spice.
For dessert we shared a cheesecake with macerated peaches (really sliced). I’m told it was good but not special.
If you're in Corvallis make a reservation and have dinner here. You won’t be disappointed.
Wonderful place to go. Great selection at the market and AWESOME pastries! Still have yet to have dinner here, but I can't wait to come back to enjoy a dinner by the woodfire stove.
Great experience. Four of us each ordered a different starter and entree and they were all excellent! Friendly and attentive service. Overall a perfect evening.
Been waiting to go to this place as I love a great farm to table restaurant. I love the creativity in all the dishes here. Everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality of food you get. I can't wait to eat here again! The restaurant is connected to their store and it's casual, elegant, and a beautiful setting.
The restaurant is amazing. Food is complex and interesting. Very worth the price. This is where our family goes for special celebratory meals.
All around great spot. I don’t live in Oregon anymore but when I’m able to visit again, I definitely plan on stopping by. Amazing potato donuts!
