Geno's Pizza and Burgers, Astoria OR

Excellent pizza! I am a huge fan of thin crust. They use a bit of cornmeal in bottom to create a wonderful accent to a freshly created pie. I will come back even with inflation and do highly recommend this restaurant to everyone

My husband and I were there a week and a half ago on a Saturday afternoon, the tables were dirty, an older waitress had us moved from the only clean table we found in case she got a bigger group later, mind you the place was almost empty and dirty. The fries were like out of a frozen bag and for a place like this you’d think they’d at least cut their own fries

Hot sub sandwiches are the BEST. The bread is grilled so it doesn’t get soggy and there’s no lack of cheese and toppings. I get the Pizza Sub but with pepperoni and Italian sausage and it’s amazing. I’m a big guy capable of putting away a lot of food but even the full sub is big enough and so full of toppings and cheese I can usually only eat about 3/4ths of it! Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

Worst service. They Had a please seat yourself sign, so we proceeded to seat ourselves. But then we were chased after and told we needed to wait to be seated. We didn’t get menus or any service for ten minutes. Then watched as other people seated themselves and received services before us. As we got up and left, the server that was supposed to be attending us boldly asked if “we were ready to order “. Don’t bother stopping by if you aren’t the right kind of people.

Great Pizza, was not expecting much when we pulled into the parking lot at this very unassuming restaurant. The wife and I were very pleased with the cracker crust and topping that we received here. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area

If I could give a -50 star I would. They turned our large group away, even though they had plenty of room. They said they wouldn’t have room for smaller groups if they sat us. Definitely not a family friendly restaurant.

The food was okay; my burger was fine, the salad was good, the pizzas we ordered were probably the best food we had there (I was told the tomatoes were particularly fresh and yummy and the crust was delightful), but my son's French Dip sandwich was very underseasoned. The service was decent, and it was a charming place in that old, hometown "greasy spoon" diner kind of way.

However, I cannot get over how filthy the men's room was; it looked like it hadn't seen any attention in days, if not more. The toilets themselves were revolting and I was glad I could relieve myself standing up. When I went to eagerly wash my hands, the sink handle nearly fell off and I was only able to get a small stream of water to come out of it. The soap dispenser didn't work, and the walls were coated in the kind of grime that builds up in neglected restaurants over time.

I know I go to a restaurant to eat and not to use the restroom, but if the bathroom is that gross how well do they care for the rest of the place? And how well do the employees wash up after they "use the facility" if the sink and soap are barely functional? To add a bit of an eye roll to the visit, there's a note on the wall behind the cash register to remind employees to "clean bathrooms daily. " Perhaps this is an ongoing issue that hasn't been resolved yet.

There was also a hair in my burger. I've worked in food service enough to have a lot of grace for that kind of thing and, as long as it doesn't appear to be a type of hair somewhere below the neck (this one was about three inches long, fine, and light colored), I personally don't feel it's as disgusting as some, but it just added one more thing to question the level care taken there.

Because I walked in late after my family had already ordered I went ahead and risked it and walked away without an illness, but I wouldn't go back if I were to visit Astoria again.

We we’re passing through yesterday on our way back from Ocean Park.looking for some place to stop and grab lunch, we pulled in the parking lot noticing that it was not packed. We got there just in time because it filled up fast! And I can see why the food was excellent and did not disappoint. We will be back!

I usually like going in to eat there, the food is always good when u dine in. I decided one day that I was going to order delivery to my house. I was sorely unimpressed, my burger was completely soggy hardy able to eat it with my hand it was falling apart, and I got little to no tator tots and they were Burt to a crisp. I didn’t call to complain because they are all very nice people and I hope they see this in hopes they can do better on there delivery. So please Genos pick up your delivery game. I love your food! Idk what happened that day but it must not have been a good day.

Whenever I visit Astoria, I try to get a pizza from Geno's. Crust is crispy and toppings are generous. It makes for great leftovers when you are staying at a motel. Staff was courteous and had my order ready in the time they said. Delicious chocolate peanut pie as well! Thanks so much!

Community oriented. School sports, and sports on television. Not fancy but quite comfortable. Quite a selection. We chose 2 pizzas, 1 gourmet one regular. They were both really good. Next time we'll try their burgers. They look interesting. And after that their sandwiches. Well worth the visit.

Love the Pizza, love the Pie, especially the marionberry. OMG.the Salad bar has lots of selection, the littles get to enjoy games and you can always find the big screen tuned to the latest game. Fantastic crust. Love it <3 left this review 5 years ago & they've only gotten better. Scheduling thru the Pandemic was tough but they were/are open for business, dine in, delivery or take-out. Miss the salad bar, good things take time!

Shockingly this was the worst pizza that I have ever had in my entire life. It smelled weird, didn’t have any sauce, was raw/undercooked in the middle, had no taste, and had all of the Ingredients piled Into the middle of the pie. Also took over an hour to get here at 7pm on a Sunday and I only live a few blocks away.

We absolutely love this place! When staying in Astoria at the Hampton Inn we always look forward to ordering from Geno's. The menu is huge, the pizza is excellent and all of the choices are delicious. The service is great and delivery quicker than promised. The kids menu is perfect for your little ones with lots of options. Thank you Geno's for great food and excellent service.

This is the very best pizzeria in the county. Their pizza dough is worked by hands and is crispy, light, bubbly and so delicious. We are delighted each and every time that we get a chance to eat a Geno's pizza and burgers. We love the "bartenders "and the variety of toppings for the ''make your own'' pizza

I had the pizza sub.yum.it is cozy and warm inside on those wet, blustery days. The fireplace really adds appeal and ambiance. Good service, recommend appetizer as food takes a little while to prepare.

The pizza wasn't cooked all the west in the middle. Ordered a supreme pizza it was more of olives with some cheese on crust. You would think being here they would know how to make fish and chips the fish was not good at all. It was a one and done kinda place.

First time visit and can’t wait to come again. Great pizza. We had 1/2 supreme 1/2 taco - sooo good. Nice and crunchy crust, fresh topping, great flavors. Then pie! Very generous slice and “berry” good.
Very happy with our dinner, but after seeing others burgers and fries we can’t wait to come back and try that too!
