Gentle Dental Grants Pass

Horrid. Waited 6 months for am appointment just for them to cancel 2 days before. Then they told me I can go to the next city and try again. Not realizing that I leave for 10 weeks just days after the appointment was supposed to be. So there won't be anymore opportunities to go. Don't waste your time with this fraudulent "dentist office"

I am a new patient I get good vibes from everybody in the office they smile they treat people with respect, I really like the dentist and his assistants and I like the surgeon he is cool. I appreciate things that you do for me thank you I give this dentist office 100% good dentist

They really dropped the ball with me I signed up with them in 2019, had appointments set up they either cancelled on me, rescheduled cancelled again, I was even out on cancellation lists with them. I even have an appointment that was scheduled in 2022 for March of 2024, all this time I was made to believe I was on a cancellation list, my wife gets a call today asking if she can be seen tomorrow at 10 and I'm sitting here thinking damn that list I'm on I have yet to get a call; three abscess later broken teeth, my wife says can my wife who has been waiting years to be seen because other places for years have not been taking new patients after bickering they finely say yes to switching with her. Like seriously I don't want to hear from them all, saying my teeth are bad at this point and why have I not come in sooner? They are no longer taking new patients either. The receptionist stated yea your on the list for cancellations but your name has been hidden. Like seriously? I got tired of hearing my doctor's say I need to see a dentist. When I lived up north I was fine got everything I needed done, but now my teeth are bad and I have lost hope. Gentle Dental really dropped the ball with me. My happy they have been good for my wife and son, but they really broke me down.

My daughter had braces put on in March of 2023. The Orthodontist that we began treatment with left shortly after. A new Orthodontist then came in and we were not notified there would be a change. There were several red flags in care and along with lack of communication on the progress of her treatment. They are always rushing through appointments because their Orthodontist is only there once a month. After a very unsettling appointment where they talked about one of the front teeth turning the wrong way (they talked amongst themselves and at no point talked to me) I was completely unsettled. We got into another Orthodontist to have a consultation.
At that time we found that the progress of her treatment was actually going backwards. After 9 months of braces her teeth were actually in worse shape. The tooth referenced was actually becoming crooked. It was pointed out that they used outdated braces technology. They didn't have good placing of her brackets. Her front top two teeth are chipping due to her bite and then they placed the brackets too high on her bottom teeth which is progressively adding to the chipping. The bottom wire isn't even in one of the brackets and was too long and needed clipped. There are just too many issues to list.
I requested to withdraw from their services. I've paid over half the total cost for the braces over 9 months. Yet to cancel they said I still owe them over $300. All to make her teeth worse. And to top it off the progress and care of her teeth is so insufficient, I have to pay for the full cost of braces through a new Orthodontist. So paying for over half the cost of braces at one Orthodontist and the full price of braces at another.
At no point did Gentle Dental ask what my concerns are. I let them know I was leaving due to negligence in care and I may need to take additional action against them. They had no questions and showed no concern for the situation which is yet another red flag. I'll be filing complaints anywhere and everywhere I can and seeking any additional actions I can take.
I am so heartbroken for my daughter. An additional 9 + months in braces. In disbelief they didn't even want to know what was wrong. I hope anyone considering braces here reads this and takes it seriously. Get consultations are multiple Orthodontists before making the decision to go through Gentle Dental.

They fit me in soon enough that I can travel and see my family for Christmas, which alone was wonderful, but all the nurses and technicians were wonderful and nice, and Dr. Cheng was an amazing surgeon. Almost all my experience with doctors throughout my life has been horrible, but my experience was fantastic. Despite me being a huge baby and whining every time a needle was near me, Dr. Cheng was patient, and explained everything he was doing, and answered every question I had.

If you don't like going to the dentist, this is probably the best place to go!

First of all, I do understand that this filed is overbooked and High demand. Yet, I tried my best for being understanding and willing work through this with staffs. BUT.besides I need to wait 4 months for the referral about teeth pulled (after I went into Emergency visit), then had so much hope on the day of. Then. Waited for 2 hours. 2 hours for the dentists to come? I asked, they mentioned that, well, we had Three surgery scheduled today. Why then? Maybe schedule bigger gap for each clients? Not trying work on take on as many clients as you want, then clients needs to wait hours to being seen? His is horribly for time managements. If you have another choice, DO NOT go there. They give you all type of excuse. On the top of all the frustration, after I advocated myself, there was no staff to check in with us at all.what kind of system of care it? Please tell me. Then they changed our insurances thousands dollars?

Editing Again, I forgot it took Forever for my first appointment BUT I've been lucky as other reviews are saying, lucky enough to get called in for cancellations so I am pleased and lucky to say my much needed dental is being done is a shorter amount of time than expected! So Thank You for that! Overall good experiences! Would recommend! I'm adding more after reading other comments, there IS a not at all friendly girl at check in and the other woman has warmed up to me I think so it was a more pleasant experience than the 3 prior ones with her. But it would be nice to be at least acknowledged in Some way when you walk in rather than ignored or treated rudly for speaking to her because you didn't realize she was doing something on the computer. I wasn't going to mention but since I saw I'm not the only one.a simple smile to acknowledge and returning to your call would work, and if it's just computer work "one moment please" works too! Most people can read the room and understand that! The assistants once you are in the back are GREAT, I have Really Bad anxiety and they have All been calming and sweet! The dentist I see forgive me I don't know his name, but I was surprised at how young he looks, he is very calming and kind! I would absolutely recommend him! I'll have more to review after the end of the month when the oral surgeon removes my root, as our appointment was a quick one to establish the appointment! Sorry for the long review!:) (dentist is the one on the far right in the back of the group photos, he's great. And the front desk who's been more friendly lately is the tallest blond in the front, I'll bring your rock soon! And the others mentioned above are Not seen in that photo, just so ya know)

New patient and was absolutely appaled on how rude Tiffany was at the front desk. Unpolite and not friendly. Needs to understand people's rights and be alot nicer and maybe treat a patient with a smile. The fact the front desk just talks about their clients is very unprofessional

Dr. Chakraborty (pediatric dentist) has been a wonderful addition to the Grants Pass office! Both my kids have us dental procedures done with her & she was very welcoming and calming.

I've been dealing with this office for a few months and I've never had a negative experience! Dr. Cheng and Dr. C are absolutely amazing! Dr. Cheng pulled a tooth out and it was painless. I had no after pain and no issues. My son sees Dr. C and he loves her! She is amazing with young kids, and adults.
Their scheduling is booked out aways but now I understand why. The Dentist here are wonderful!

Thank you so much for all your hard work and all your support through my treatments and you have helped me so much that I can’t express how much this means to me in the sense because of you and your kindness and your gentleness. I don’t have to take anxiety meds when I have to do a filling or a route now and that’s big for me as for years and years I’ve had to do it, and I just can’t express how less stress I am when I go to the dentist and I am not full of anxiety so thank you from of my bottom of my heart so now when I go to the dentist, I don’t have to take any anxiety pills and since I was little, I always had in for the very first time in many years. This year is the first year team, including David part of your assistant people. They have a big way to as they were there by my side along with you, and that is the best thing to do to have to. Is people that care not just a good dentist. They also a good assistant that go along aside you.so awesome job and thank you so much Dr. Corbin I will continue coming to you as for once in my lifetime I can breathe and not be so high anxiety, when I go to the dentist I will definitely recommend and get people to come to you that are full of anxiety and you can help like you helped me so what then saying that I really really would hope that you will stay here in Grants Pass forever as I really will be very heartbroken if you ever go out of grants Pass so my hope and is that you will stay here and Grants forever awesome job Dr.corbin you made me a brave soul you’re new strong client an Rosalba turnbull

Everyone was so kind and patient with me, and I really appreciated that. Also, very helpful in getting what needed to be done. I have had some issues with some of them in the past, but am very grateful that is no longer the case.

The people in the office are always really nice, they always are checking to make sure I'm comfortable. I'm always happy with what ever they do to my teeth. Definitely recommend

Scheduled me for an extraction on a day they weren't even in office.

Received a call to reschedule. I figured maybe a week later? Nope 4 more months of waiting. Not to mention I was told the doc wouldn't be available or even in office to perform an extraction for an entire month...

The doc Michael is awesome, does great work when he has the chance.

"I'm the only one in the office" is the popular excuse. Why is that our problem? Why are you understaffed?

It's a shame mcdonalds runs smoother than this place.
