16I would give this place a higher rating if the staff werent so bad most are great people exept for a receptionist qhose name is something like ariana/adriana she keept rolling her eyes at us and gave lots of attitude thankfuly another staff member came and was way nicer than her. She was the only bad THING there other than her it was a very average place. There should be a change of staff of only her.
Finally found a great dentist office that I enjoy going to! Such kind and helpful staff! The hygienists were very quick and careful with my x rays and cleanings. The dentist was knowledgeable and caring, he got me scheduled for everything that I needed to get taken care of. I would give them 6 stars if I could!
They are all about the money and the front office is terrible. I would not recommend or ever go back there again.
Worst expirence ever! The receptionist are so rude. And nasty and act like they hate their job True meaning of welfare resipient dentist atleast thays how they treat you!
I do not like dentist visits, never have but my recent visits to this office have completely changed my outlook. The staff is very friendly and my Dentist was extremely kind and informative. I hadn't taken care of my teeth like I should have and got fillings today, I didn't feel any pain! I also asked for the fillings to be whiter as I planned to whiten my teeth later and they were happy to do that for me. I can smile again without being embarrassed, I am so thankful for my Dentist and the staff!
I went in with a severe infection and in need of a root canal, they rushed me in the next day and make sure I was taking care of. Dr.means was very helpful and did his best to make me comfortable in a very painful time.
Look, at 61 years old, I've been to a lot of various Dental Offices around the United States as well as overseas, and Gentle Dental in Salem has been one of the best providers for all of my dental needs. The South Salem office is my dental office of choice. Everything is seamless and pleasant, from the check-in process, waiting room, overall cleanliness and up to date equipment and facility, to the hygienist, hygienist assistance, billing to my insurance, and especially the dentist himself. D. M. D. Peterschmidt has done great work with all he has done on my regular dental maintenance needs to correcting several dental problems I've had with my aging teeth. All the work he has done has been exceptional and I'm especially pleased with the Crown he replaced for me after it shattered. This one Crown had given me problems for years after it was installed by my former dental office, not by Gentle Dental. The Crown Dr. Peterschmidt installed is perfect and fits nice and tight between my other teeth. The bit is proper and I haven't had a problem with it since it was installed many years ago. The Hygienist have all done a great job of teeth cleaning and with checking my teeth for any possible problems during my 6-month visits.
I highly recommend the South Salem Gentle Dental office, and D. M. D. Peterschmidt, if you're lucky enough to become one of his patients, for all of your dental needs. Thank you Gentle Dental.
Having a root canal is not the most entertaining way to spend your day. Thursday morning, that was where I was. Dr. Mounce made it pretty painless, other than the anesthetic shots that start the procedure off, and even those weren't bad. A little over an hour later, I was on my way home. I was able to take a couple of nice walks through the neighborhood in the afternoon. It was a much better day than I anticipated, and that poor old molar has some time left in its service.

My experience was very nice, I'm usually very nervous to go. All the staff were very nice and professional.
I came in for a cap replacement and I'm really happy with the results. Now I have a smile that I'm proud of! I couldn't have asked for a better dentist everyone here is nice and really put their clients first. Thank you so much!
Everyone from the front desk to the hygienists to the Dr are amazing. I get nervous going to see a dentist but this is the first time that I can go & am totally calm. I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a place to go.
This is truly a fine group! I was pleasantly greeted at the door by Loraina & Wanda both very welcoming. Jose was quick to take me back.doing a great job at X-rays and the Doc was very thorough in the exam. I'll definitely be back & highly recommend them! Thank you all for loving what you do
This dentist was very compassionate he explained everything that he was doing and I felt at ease normally I’m terrified of the dentist but I felt better and the experience was good
10/10 love this place! They make you feel so comfortable and they always go above and beyond. I highly recommend them.
Always running late. I have to leave work early to make my appointment on time but then have to wait an additional 15mins on average. If I arrived 15mins late for my appointment then they would have an issue but it’s okay for them to always run late. Very disappointing. I have worked in a dental office and being a dental assistant I understand how an office runs, but to be consistently late shows poorly on the office and staff.
We were out of town on a short trip and my nephew's space maintainer on one side broke leaving him unable to eat or even talk normal. His regular office couldn't get him in for 2 more days. I called Gental Dental Skyline and spoke with the office manager, Kimber, whom told me to bring him in they'd take care of him. We came in and Dr. Peterschmidt saw him right away and got him out of pain. I'm beyond thankful for their compassion and ability to help him! I highly recommend this wonderful office! Thank you!
