George and Violet's

Prior to dinning at George+Violets, I had 2 favorite places to eat in the entirety of US! Now I have 3!

This was some of the best food I've ever eaten and at a very reasonable price.
I paid 86$ for 2 entreés, 2 appetizers, and 2 cocktails.
The bartender (who was also one of the servers since it's a small place) knew the paper plane and was able to make the clover club once I explained (they even had egg whites for cocktails!)

The server highly recommended the loaded duck fat potatoes which were amazing, and the "chicken nugget" appetizer were the best chicken nuggets I've ever had in my life.

I will definitely be going again!

Drove 30 minutes to try this restaurant for the first time with a group of firefighters. The restaurant was open till 8: 30 and we showed up at 7: 15, they declined seating us with more then half the tables open and told us they don’t want to seat anymore because they wanted to get out of there early. Felt disrespected and left.

My husband and I have been here a few times and every time we come I’m usually not feeling it, but when we have our drinks and food we always leave satisfied.

We had a fabulous dining experience here. The wait staff and co owner made personal connections with us and were delightful. Oh the food, we loved it all. Pork cheeks, steak, shrimp all perfectly prepared. But definitely order the wedge salad to share and Parker House rolls. The price was worth the high quality of ingredients and chef’s attention to details. We will be back.

We just dropped our son off at UO and wanted a great last meal together. George and Violet's delivered a fun atmosphere, delicious food and great service! A+ we will see you parents weekend! The miso mayonnaise on the broccolini and miso butter on the ribeye were unexpected, creative and absolutely delicious. Well done.

I'm sorry, but it was an embarrassing experience for me and a new business guest I invited. It was way overpriced the portions were small, NOTHING special about the local store bought meat or portions of it, limited hours and OUTRAGEOUS prices. Close two $200, including the overpriced wine. I'd think twice before this place who's hours are dwindling down as well.

Way over price Also got some of their pork shrimp nuggets cold in the middle Got the New York steak, got 4 potato wedges with it And they said there was a side salad it was a 4 Pieces of leaf lettuce. Worst mill I ever had in a long time.

We celebrated my Mom's 80th birthday here as she wanted a steak. You must order the rolls, they are little clouds from Yeast Heaven. My hubby's Duck was delicious, moist and flavorful. My shrimp appetizer and salad were amazing. My Mom's NY Strip was good, but not fabulous. It was not as tender as say Ruth Chris. Overall it was great and we'll be back. Wish I could give 4.5.

This place is a gem. Family owned, friendly, amazing ramen. Definitely a must-visit in Eugene!

Limited menu, primarily red meat. Based on reviews had high expectations but the food was far below expectation in terms of savor and taste. We ordered prawn ramen and duck. The dessert, hazelnut cream with toppings, was average. Disappointing overall but might be a good fit for those who prefer red meat.

The food was well prepared, but I wasn't informed that the entry was al la carte. My plate arrived with nothing on it except one lone pork chop.
Next time I'll know to order side dishes.
Sad as we were celebrating a special occasion.

Top tier restaurant in Springfield! Love the pork chop and deserts. Excellent bar and wine selection.

Rustic but high class place with friendly service and delicious food! My husband and I have been here 3 times and each time it's JUST as good! We have had the ribeye, tiger prawns, asparagus, baked brie special.all WONDERFUL!
