George Morlan Plumbing Supply

Went to George Morland in Tigard to get some advice and parts to repair a break in the water service line to my house, and a break in the ABS sewer line. I had taken some pictures, so I printed those out and the salesman looked at them all with me and helped me figure out exactly what I needed. So nice. Can’t say enough about how kindly they treated a simple homeowner with two urgent plumbing problems. Thank you GM, we’ll be back to buy sinks and stuff for remodels. Not even going to compare prices. 5 STARS *****!

Took my elderly mother to the Tigard store to look for a new faucet. The customer service was inexcusable. From the time we came through the door, the female employee had no interest in helping us, actually stood there eating her lunch while we were talking to her. I will never step foot in George Morlan again.

Crowded when we arrived so it took awhile to get helped, but that wasn't really their fault. Service was top notch - very helpful and provided a lot of extra, relevant information. Prices seem competitive - not rock bottom, but not offensively high.

Busy. Didn't have what I was looking for but they were willing listen & make suggestions. I always enjoy their service reps. Very friendly. Plenty of help. Short wait

They replaced our 22 year old water heater today. The tech arrived on time and did an excellent job. He had everything to do a professional installation and explained everything to me.

My go to place for anything out of the ordinary or when I'm stumped. Prices? Quality stuff, and not the cheapest.so, I just buy parts here.

I am a maintenance man who uses them regularly and they save me every single time I have to go or I don’t know what to do. Only plumbing store I go to.

Walked into the showroom. Browsed around for a good 20 minutes, were not approached by anyone even though there was only 1 or 2 other customers in the place.

Super Helpful! Home Depot and Lowes both failed me when I needed a part for my water heater. GMP knew exactly what I needed and gave me some great advice on how to fix the issue I had. I will be getting all my plumbing parts from them from now on.

Morlan is the only place I go to for plumbing parts or fixtures. They sell quality stuff, and their staff is knowledge and helpful. I have called them for advice several times.

We were looking for last minute parts for a whole shower set up. Pam, at the front desk spent a lot of time working with us and found all the parts we needed except one, which she ordered from the manufacturer for us. Top notch service!

I normally don't leave reviews but couldn't ignore this one. This review is based on the showroom side of the store. The showroom was a travesty. If you want any help, you will be waiting near the entrance for a long time. They are short staffed. No one at the front desk and the folks at the other desk don't acknowledge you. So you just wait until someone shows up to help. The employee who eventually approached me was nice. However, after giving my specs and telling him what I was looking for, he chose to show me two items in inventory that were not a match. He didn't bother to widen his search for items that could be ordered from the manufacturer. Clearly, their priority is to get rid of inventory since they had to recently downsize due to the pandemic. Complete waste of time for me.

Sign says water heater king. They actually had only 4 gas water heaters in the store, all the same brand. The guy behind the counter couldn’t be bothered to look up from his phone to help, just pointed to the sad selection.

The staff was friendly and helpful! We were looking for a kitchen sink and their selection was great for any price point. Highly recommend.

If you want to have hours of your day wasted go here, went to the tigard store they didn't have the part I needed there but was told they had some at the Portland store, I drove across town only to be told NOPE

I gutted my second bathroom and needed to replace the valves and hardware for the shower/bath/sink. The selection at Lowes and Home Depot were very limited. I went to Tigard George Morlan. It was late in the day and the store was busy. I was a little overwhelmed at the large selection and needed help. Robin offered her assistance and was wonderful with her expertise and going the extra mile to educate me on safety changes in plumbing. She redirected me to redo my water turn on/off and even went out to get inventory in back to ensure I had best selection. Although she was under a lot of pressure with phones ringing and line of people and store about to close, she held her cool and demonstrated kindness and respect to everyone. Great business! Horrible. I came for a shower stall Pressure Balancing Cartridge to repair a dripping faucet. I was told that Pfister, "doesn't make these anymore.it's over ten years old. " So I asked what they'd recommend, and they tried to have me get a plumber out and install all new valve components, including the 'trim' (the handle and mounts) which I knew would cost me a small fortune.

I went to Home Depot and they had three (3!) of these in stock for only $20 a piece. - These George Morlan Boys much be working on commission, eh? ! It's either that, or they don't know their business. I won't be going back.

Stopped in to pick up an ordered item and was treated like I was a burden from the start. Wasn't clear on where I should enter store and staff members were irritated when I asked. Then, staff rudely said "don't touch anything, on't breathe on anything! " even though I was wearing a mask and reassured him that I'm sensitive to behaving safely. On top of this, had to wait 25 minutes in line. Will never do business with this location again.
