The George Rogers park is very nice. First time there for kayaking and for the park/beach. It was very busy and the staff were a little slow to greet us but the online reservation was easy and made check-in easy too! (You can print and fill out the waiver ahead of time). We rented 2 kayaks and a SUP. We were not told what to do on returning but quickly figured it out. The ramp is very small but easier to get to than the Tualatin river location. It’s a pretty area and may get calmer further up river but unfortunately, there were lots of boats on the water making waves- not fun for the paddle board. We were probably there at prime boat time of 1-3pm on a hot sunny weekday. Can’t imagine what it’s like on the weekend!

Cheap Kayak Rentals 25$ per hour for single Kayak. Great spot o. The Willamette easy to get into kayaks and get pushed off. Staff was super helpful and very friendly.

Make sure you go down to the beach and then turn left and walk the beach until you see the shipping containers and kayaks.

We set up our rental on line for Saturday 7/11 afternoon, and it was easy to complete all of the information necesary. The guys at the storage containers (4pm) were friendly, and very accomodating. Our 2 hour rental was very enjoyable, and your team ensured our good experience.

My go to summer river bar. Gets a little crowded mid afternoon but it use to be a hidden gem.

There were two young men running a kayak stand that seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing. I asked for a life jacket that would fit me since they only had youth and men’s xxl and was told “sorry we don’t have any” very unprofessional and disorganized.
