Old school Italian in a homey small environment. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is very classic Italian fare. Meatballs are incredible, and the tomato sauce is delicious with no trace of bitterness. Eggplant Parmesan is heavily breaded, which may not appeal to everyone. Spaghetti is perfectly cooked, al dente. Note that the mushroom sauce mentioned on the menu is actually a tomato sauce with mushrooms, which I found confusing at first. Overall, a nice dining experience.

Good food, good service and reasonable prices.
They are really famous for their pizza but the pasta dishes are also delicious.

Food is always delicious. We have ever had a bad meal out of all the years of going there.

Our waitress was super friendly and took good care of us. Ambiance is ok, but food makes it easy to overlook. Highly recommend.

Only negative is this is old school furniture.

But everything else is outstanding.

I don't like leaving not-great review but it experience here wasn't very good.
It took over 30 min to get the food.
By the time we got our food, different types of pasta, we were disappointed by it: ( (taste and look)

Maybe try pizza next time

I love this Italian restaurant. Everything is good here. The restaurant is small but discovered they have a hidden dinning room when they are busy. Staff is friendly and the cannolis are fabulous!

Horrible pizza - they literally just threw pepperoncini on top when I asked for banana peppers. The cheese wasn't melted and the breaded was SO thick and barely cooked all the way through. Think 1990's Pizza Hut but worse. Definitely won't be coming back here again as I spent $55 dollars on 2 large pizzas with only 1 topping. Gave the service 5 stars because the it's not the waitstaff's fault by any means.

Exactly how you remember it if you have ever been there. If you haven't and are feeling nostalgic about going to the kind of Italian place your parents took you to when you were a kid. This is it!

I’ve lived in the area for years and never experienced Giovanni’s before. Let’s just say I’ve been missing out on an incredibly delicious experience for…YEARS. This is me and my boyfriends new spot.

We keep hearing the food is good but now for the 2nd time to dine in, things didn't go so well. If you have low expectations, like ma and pa Italian but the kids took it into the gutter, then this is your kinda place. Seated us in a booth right on the cash register (all staff could see us) and served 5 take outs and never even asked us if we wanted something to drink, 25 mins. I guess post Covid, this is a take out restaurant only.the drink menu is a joke.from the wine menu, it says Layer Cake is an Italian wine. I rest my case.or in this case, I rest my Cake. I might do take out next time to finally try the food. Sad they can't adjust with the times.

The cheese garlic bread is delicious. The rest is alright, it's doable. It's better then any chain restaurants. I will go back to try dinner and definitely get the cheese bread again! Staff is friendly and very nice.

Food was not as good as I expected. While the sauce was good I found the ravioli pasta to be to thick and the meatballs to be relatively bland.

We (a party of 7) all had an excellent time. Food was great, service was top tier, and the Stromboli was to die for.

I've gone to Giovanni's since I was a kid and their food is always amazing to eat. The service is good and the atmosphere is always warm and inviting to be in.
