REVISED REVIEW: had GRUB HUB delivery.they were great but can't say that for the food.got fried rice, it was so gummy an unbeatable also ordered Tofu with green beans n garlic sauce.called TWICE to be sure the garlic sauce was substituted with BLACK BEAN SAUCE.an it wasn't.this is the 3rd time they've screwed up the order.quality has gone down. I have eaten here for over 12 yrs an never again.

This place used to be a great place to eat but now it kind of sucks especially when it comes to customer service. The girl named Ireland there has such an attitude that it makes you not want to come back. She needs to grow up and learn that the customers are there to be served and not barked at when we ask for service. She pretended that I was attacking her just because I asked her out loud why she didn't want to serve me because she kept avoiding coming to the table after I sat there for 5 minutes as she continued her conversation with her coworker acting as if she was more concerned about her conversation with her co-worker than she was with doing her job. I've been going there for years and I've never felt unwelcome there until Ireland started working there. The Asian workers have never ever given me that kind of attitude. She needs to either learn to be mature and do her job or find some other kind of work because she is pushing customers away who were once loyal to this restaurant before she was even old enough to work.

The food was okay but I was kind of distracted by the rudeness of the waitress named ireland. I watched her ignore a customer and when he asked her why she wasn't serving him she gave him an attitude and pretended that he was attacking her although she was the one who was neglecting him and he was not attacking her at all. She is very unprofessional and to be honest with you if she is there next time I go there then I'm not going to stay. The service was much better with the Asian girls and the young man that works there.

I was visiting from out of town so this was my first time going here. Excellent service, Ireland was our server, very nice and accommodated all of our needs. Delicious food! I would highly recommend trying this place out.

The food was wonderful and the portions were very good. We had a #1 and a honey shrimp w/walnuts. It was very tasty and waitress refilled my water without me waiting or having to ask. Would recommend to all.

Got my friend to switch over to Gold Dragon! He was always complaining about his regular place.
He said, he will only eat at the Gold Dragon now!
Haven't had a bad dish yet and they have one of the Best egg foo yung around!

My family and I had the most wonderful experience at Golden Dragon! The food is truly exceptional, (must try the Chicken Lo Mein) and the ambiance is warm and inviting. What truly made our visit outstanding was the exceptional service we received from our waitress, Ireland. She was incredibly patient and kind, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was perfect. Her recommendations were spot on, and her friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. Golden Dragon is a gem, and Ireland's exceptional service added that extra touch of warmth to our meal. We can't wait to visit again!

Used to be our favorite spot but quality has gone way downhill and to go portions have gotten much smaller.

My family and I come here and it never disappoints. Definitely best Chinese food in Salem by far! Ireland has been our server many times. She always makes us feel very welcomed.

I would highly recommend the Mongolian beef as it's my absolute favorite, as well as the sizzling happy family.

I need 4 arms so I can eat it all at the same time. The pork fried rice had pork bits ALL through it!
The food came to our table still hot. And it was delicious.
I like the little slice of lemon in the water glass. Very refreshing.

I'm not sure if it's under new ownership, but the food is gross now. No longer has a lunch menu and the prices are steep. Not going back. The food use to be soo good here and the prices.

Food was ok but the waitress was just so pathetic that it was painful.
We ordered a 2nd glass of wine and the waitress was confused. We couldn't understand what she was confused about. She wanted to take the current glass, which had some wine still left in it. I asked if she could just bring another glass of wine and she stared at us in confusion again and then walked away. She didn't bring the 2nd glass of wine when she came back and still seemed really confused. I asked if they were short on glassware and if she needed the 1st glass back. She said that they had wine glasses and that she was just confused. We were all baffled by her confusion as it was extremely simple. All she needed to do was bring a glass of wine. I thought maybe she was just bring cautious and didn't want to double stack drinks or something but that wasn't it. So I said to her, "when someone orders a beer, do you wait for them to finish and then use their glass again? " She got super upset at this question, though I said it in earnest and walked away and loudly talked trash about us from behind the partition. We were the only table in the restaurant and could hear everything she said. I came up to the counter to clear things up and see what was making her so upset but her attitude was beyond anything I've experienced in service. She was indignant and positively rude. We came close to leaving but stayed because we were hungry. We left a meager tip which is uncommon but we could not reward bad service. I thought the manager or owner would want to know. I know I would want to know, if it were my business,
If only to improve service.
So, I spoke with the owner and he really could not have cared less. After getting home and looking at the reviews. I saw more comments about the bad service and replies from the owner saying they would improve service but I just don't see that this has happened and I don't see that it will happen.

So, yeah, I'll do that waitress a big favor and won't be coming back.
Again, the food was good but the service was pathetic and the owner response was lukewarm at best.

Food was great loved the Mongolian Beef. Food came to table quick and was hot and tasty.

Have been going here since I was three. Love the food. Love the people. The complex they are in currently has a roach infestation and I found a baby one in my food. Would love to eat there again one day if they move locations and got a steady pest control specialist.

I used to love this place but since the staff changed so did everything else. Twice in a row I got a different order and an attitude with it.

Hole in the wall Chinese food:) I'm in love with the fried rice! Most pork fried rice has a bit of port at the top of the box when you open it, this place has pork all through it! Amazing taste!

Love the food and the service! Friendly & fast. Always a favorite spot for us to come to.

Have been coming here since I was a kid and am never disappointed! The staff are so friendly and the food is good and fast.
