I went to Golden Way to get help with a long standing shoulder injury. Nhimsa was thorough and clear in her treatment and there were immediate results! After several treatments, I regained range of motion without pain, soreness gone! Highly recommend Golden Way, Nhimsa and her very pleasant staff! This was my first acupuncture experience and a very positive one.

Nhimsa came highly recommended, my husband and I have not been disappointed. Between the two of us, we’ve been treated for a variety of issues, as well as for general well-being. We absolutely love her!

I have been going to Golden Way regularly for a year now and it’s been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with regards to working on stress levels and working out the damage and pain from old work-related, sports-related, and auto-accident related injuries. In addition, I have suffered jaw pain and jaw popping and cracking since I was 12 due to orthodontic work that damaged my jaw, and Nhimsa has also been able to help relieve the tension and pain there as well. I have been through physical therapy three times in my life, and the therapists never listened when I tried the explain the difference between injury pain and work out pain—because there is a difference. Nhimsa listens and tries different methods to help me reach the heart of my muscle pains. I used to get migraines a few times a year due to my back and neck injuries, but now, I don’t even feel them start to build up (I used to catch them with Advil before they’d hit so I wouldn’t get to the vomiting/debilitated stage—I haven’t taken any pain reliever in six months). I hope this review helps someone like myself, who needs a more wholistic approach to helping their body recover, heal, and rebuild. It takes time, but gosh is it wonderful when you start feeling muscles engage for the first time in years; or trust that you can lay on your back and let your head turn to the side without it turning into a painful knot.

So much to say: the 2 main topics I see are Nhimsa as a healer and acupuncture as a healing modality. After 5 sessions, I couldn't be more pleased with both. Nhimsa is the embodiment of grace, care and professionalism and the weekly healing process profound. The needles are so delicate, I couldn't tell a friend how many I had at a time. My health issues have stabilized and the pain and discomfort virtually gone. But the deeper changes are harder to describe: it's as if the very ways I interact with the stresses of life seem more joyful and provide more choices in how to respond. From the greetings with Sierra, the warm and sunny disposed receptionist through the timeless acupuncture sessions with Nhimsa, these sessions have become my favorite times of the week.

The treatments I have been receiving from Nhimsa Champaneri, LAc, at the Golden Way Clinic these past few months have been life changing. After experiencing a sense of dizziness, physical instability, and intermittent 'brain fog' over the past two and a half years, which the western medical system had not been able to assess or address in any substantive way, I am now beginning to feel a renewed sense of stability and ability in my life.
As Nhimsa explained in our first session, the acupuncture treatments build on one another for a cumulative positive effect. The treatment plan which she laid out for me, and her consistent availability to be able to provide treatment, along with her deep and experienced knowledge and understanding of this healing modality have resulted in much appreciated significant improvements in my daily life functionality and enjoyment.
Additionally, she accepts my insurance plan, which has supported my financially in this course of very effective treatment.

I have Complex Post Traumatuc Stress Disorder. Acupuncture has reduced significantly the number of triggering episodes. It also is helping me to gain insight as to the causes of the triggering.

Working with Ahimsa and acupuncture has been a game changer for me as I navigate chronic pain and inflammation. In my late 70's I was still pushing myself to do the work I love, doing fire mitigation on my forest land. I ignored the warning signs my body was sending me until it finally rebelled.

One morning I could barely stand up, and I hurt in all my joints, and walking was painful and difficult. I had to stop.

I found the Golden Way Clinic and Nhimsa serendipitously through a friend. I had consulted an MD and had x-rays that showed arthritis in my hips. Western medicine offered me pain killers, physical therapy, and encouraged me to consider hip replacement surgery. Nhimsa offered me a safe, non-invasive therapy with 5000 years of wisdom behind it, and the assurance that by bringing my body back into balance and harmony, I could heal.

That was a short month ago. I walk freely now with no pain. The inflammation and stiffness in my hands, neck, shoulders and back have all improved substantially. Most of the neuropathy in my legs and feet has disappeared. Headaches have stopped and better sleep patterns are returning.

Nhimsa is a healer. I felt that intuitively and immediately. She is warm, supportive and caring. She seeks to bring the body back into balance rather than to treat a specific disease. With a combination of herb therapy, acupuncture, and other state of the art modalities, she treats the whole person.

For the last 4+ years I have been going to Golden Way to assist with chronic ailments. Before I started seeing Nhimsa, I was in constant pain, fatigue, and my body was off in every way possible.

Almost immediately, I started seeing results and even years later, Nhimsa keeps my body in check so I can do all of the things I want to do again - walk comfortably, exercise, you name it. She's incredibly knowledgeable and has taught me so much that has helped grow my appreciation for understanding the body's needs and myself!

Now when I have flare ups, they are much less severe and do not last as long. I used to have certain issues (like severe allergies) and all of those problems have sigificantly decreased or gone away!
