Golden West Motel, Klamath Falls OR

We've been on a weeklong road trip and this is the BEST motel we've come across. Honestly it might be one of the cleanest motels we've ever stayed at! Super impressed with this little locally owned and operated motel. If I ever travel through this area again I guarantee I will stay here again!

This is a gem of a stay! The lady/owner greeted me with a welcoming smile, even at late check in. The room was exceptional with coffee, lots of sweetener and creamers. There's a good mini fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable and beautifully decorated. There were plenty of fresh and fluffy towels, several decoratively folded and soap and shampoo tucked in. I highly recommend this establishment. While it looks too close to the highway, it was very quiet.

I do not want to give a FIVE-STAR review. I want this place to be my best kept secret so it is available for me every time I'm in Klamath Falls.but this is a nice place to stay.

Absolutely five stars! This place was extremely easy to find- right off the 97. Even though we got there really late the owner stayed up for us and welcomed us with a cheery smile and friendly talk.
We are a middle aged couple and extremely leery of staying in off brand hotels as we have had some horrendous experiences in the past. Because of the star rating of this particular one though, we were feeling adventurous and decided to give it a try. Luisa's charming, friendly personality made it feel Almost like visiting relatives. The room was small but neat and very clean. The furniture was older but sturdy and very serviceable and the room was very well appointed with microwave, refrigerator, and in room coffee. The bathroom was updated with tiled floors and sparkling clean. Please give this place a try- you will not be disappointed!

Friendliest staff! Luisa is the best and fantastic host. 10/10 would recommend over an airbnb. Room was clean, accessible, and spacious. Place is pet friendly if needed.

Called a few days before we needed to be there. The owners re-arranged another booking to accommodate our needs. NICE!

Rooms are clean, floor is clean, towels are good, pillows are good.what else do you need?

If you're stuck in the mindset of having to stay at a Hilton or other top notch upscale Hotel every night when traveling, you're missing out on a small motel that is more upscale than any fancy hotel with it's luxuries that fall short in the real world.

The warmth we felt when we entered the Golden West Motel office in Klamath Falls Oregon was a welcome one. Our dog was welcome to stay with us too. After paying for our room, Luisa told us where the nearest local grocery store and restaurants were, and which ones she recommended.
We didn't need to use our cell phones to find an unfamiliar place in an unfamiliar town. Luisa gave us better information than Google would have. Our room was clean, and well furnished with TV, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, soap and shampoo. The heater worked better than the Hotel we stayed at in Tonopah Nevada the night before. Nice little dinette table with 2 chairs. Comfortable queen bed with nice plump pillows. All the little things that you can find in any upscale Hotel. This little motel should be rated at higher than 2 stars.
Because I would rate it among the best of them all.

Great place to stay! Lovely, accommodating hostess and great service. Quiet and couldn't hear any road noise when trying to sleep, fantastic water pressure in the shower, and comfortable bed.

We were a little nervous when we saw it was a 1 star motel, but it is one of the best places we've ever stayed. The rooms are cute, will maintained and CLEAN. The owner was friendly and welcoming, super helpful offering to give us the inside scoop on the local restaurants, attractions and anything else we may need.

The little touches in every room are an extra pleasant surprise, such as fresh flowers, rolling dining chairs, the origami like folded towels, and making sure the room is cooling off before we even arrive. You don't get service or accommodations like this at many of the chains.

We stayed here last night. This is a great place. The owners are really very nice. The rooms are not modern, but are functional, clean and neat. I'd stay there again, for sure.
