Golfside Apartments, Gresham OR

I have lived here for a year and management and maintenance do a great job! They do their best to keep up with the complex. I feel like most of the residents don't really care though. The trash area is a mess every weekend and the poor maintenance man has to clean it up. I just feel like the residents or the random people who go into the trash area don't have the decency to pick up after themselves. I think they need a new code to the trash area so those that no longer live in the complex have access. I'm happy with everything else though. They are responsive to questions and requests!

Many issues with the apartment. Before the covid 19 pandemic. Apartment constantly having issues and management doing nothing about it. And the problems end up getting worse. Also security is an issue with the homeless. They sleep in the walk ways and infront of doorways. Because they don't have lights taken care of on the property. Reported that many times to management as well and nothing got done. Save money and live somewhere else.

I've lived in 2 diff apartments here and since the new owners have taken over i can honestly say things are way better than b4. Been here 6yrs so far. Only regret besides Covid is u can't have any style grill for bbq during summer months. Who wants to be in a hot apartment cooking when u can have a delicious meal cooked outside (digression)

Their has been a lot of homless people hanging around the Apartments dump sight. With that said their has been a lot of theft, stragglers living in the trash area, and the parking area tooken over my men working on motorcycles. It's been very unsafe.

GF lives there - manager seems nice and let me register my vehicle for her parking spot, since my GF doesn't have a car. Otherwise parking is a complete nightmare, with a few vehicles taking up the visitor spots 24/7.

My son lived there for 1 year. The apartment wasn't even cleaned before he moved in. The railing was very loose, the dishwasher didn't work, the garbage disposal had rusted through and water came pouring out from under the sink. There was mold and mildew growing between the double sliding door. There were loose wires hanging down from the ceiling in the closet. They had mice. They had reported all of these thing to the manager and made several phone calls and still nothing was ever done. They had to Garilla tape their sink just so they could use it. It was just a horrible experience. The same day he moved, there were 3 other moving trucks there. Come to find out those apartments were also infested with mice.
I am so grateful they have moved. We cleaned that apartment better than it was when he moved in, yet he never received his deposit back. Paying $1150 to live like that is disgraceful. That place should be condemned.

Management has been very helpful and friendly. The maintenance crew and Shandra busts their ass keeping the common areas clean. I'm guessing the lower reviews here come from people unhappy about life in general. Seems to be a common theme these days.

Some of the neighbors were pretty rad, but it's all about the bad management. If you want to stay here and Trina is still running things, leave. I mean it don't come back.
Why?
Within a year they had 3 fires, kids and adults are thieves, Management plays favorites and stalks/spies on people they don't like or something. It's hard to say. I've watched Trina screw people over out of their housing over nothing. She would follow us around in the parking lot, she peeps through windows and backyards. I could go on. It's just not worth it to stay.

Upstairs have nice vaulted ceilings, but there is criminal activity, dumpster diving, and awful parking.
