2My husband and I have lived at the Eugene Abbey for about 11 years. We chose it because of the convenient location to downtown and the public library as well as the Life-Long Learning program in Eugene. We appreciate the secure covered parking available while we are driving our car but at some point we may use the public bus which stops in front. The food at the Abbey is wonderful. There is wide choice available and the chef is exceptional. I can't praise the virtues of the Abbey enough. Our apartment is well laid out and convenient. The people here are friendly, interesting and helpful. It is a great place for us over our long-time residency here.
It is very difficult to be a guest/personal care giver there. The parking situation is not user friendly. Parking tickets are issued to people employed by residents.
