My primary care provider is located in this building, as well as the lab. After my Dr's appointment, I had to get blood drawn for testing. Due to my red hair (so I've been told), many labs have had a hard time collecting blood. The gal at this lab can usually get it on the first attempt. She was able to get part of what was needed, but it was too slow. She called another nurse, but it wasn't going to happen. They advised me to drink water for a couple of days and come back in. They both felt so bad that I had to come back that one of them came in on her day off to be available if needed! Now that's commitment! I said all that to say, not only do I have the best Dr.ever, the nurses in the lab rock, too! Great Job

New to the area I was pleasantly impressed by this small town hospital. It is clean, friendly, caring, and thorough.

Good Shepherd doesn't seem to care about patients who possibly have a bad liver. My mother in Law went to the ER who was having Jaundice, not having much energy and has been throwing up. The told her she was important to send off to another hospital for higher care.

I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. Aside from their incompetent care, the billing department is the WORST. I have never experienced such an unprofessional department in my life. Expect to be transferred to a "manager" and receive no call back - I have been playing this game with them for months regarding a REFUND, and still no resolution. Absolutely despicable, such a joke of a hospital. Do yourself a favor and take yourself and your family to St. Anthony or Kadlec.

If I could give a zero I would. I went in to the emergency room with a hard lump in my lower abdomen. I expressed that multiple times, not to mention I was crying and screaming from the pain. The nurses and Dr. Montes failed to even assess my belly. Not once did they touch it. Instead they drew blood, gave me Benadryl, fluids and nausea meds. Left me in a room for 3 hours. And at the end a nurse I hadn’t even seen all night came into discharge me and said I should look into getting a pregnancy test. I have an iud and not to mention I regularly take them as a precaution so I knew I wasn’t. I asked the nurse what my blood test said and she said it was never sent off. It was only drawn for “just in case”. This was by far the worst experience. Death shepard is a better name for this hospital.

If you go in for something major you might walk in but you will be carried out. Unless you just need a bandaid or just have cold or flue I recommend not going here. I walked into er and they admitted me into there clinic cause it not a hospital for three days and then they were going to send me home and I said no transfer me to tricities so they called them and then they came back and said tricities wanted me to go to search or Portland. Any I ended up getting life flighted from there to boisy and when I got there I was so bad I had to get even more treatment they could not believe I came from the shepherd that bad. They said it was ridiculous. So no stars from me. And it the first time something went wrong there but will be the last

Most worthless in the state! I've had multiple RNs disgrace their profession by lying straight to your face!

Medical care was FANTASTIC! That’s why they get four stars. As that’s my primary reason for visiting a healthcare facility.

However, billing gets no stars. I received two bills for one small amount. Great. Called to pay and was on hold four times for over fifteen minutes. They do have an activation code for setting up an account and paying online. But that code said it wasn’t valid when entered. I’ll try calling again. But being on hold for that amount of time is insane. It should not be this difficult to settle a bill.

I recently had a hernia repair. Everyone was professional, helpful, caring and wonderful. I was completely blown away.

Very pleased with the help I got today. The Staff, answering the phones were amazing & so helpful.
The Dr.oncall listened & didn't make me feel rushed. Local healthcare never seem to get the the support & great reviews they deserve. I guess it's easier to complain & travel out of our town. Not for me, I'm staying home if at all possible.

I was a patient recently at the day surgery. From going for my Covid test before I could proceed to my procedure. I was informed over the phone with instructions and given date and time. Upon entering the day surgery center I was treated with the utmost respect. I was given the best care and caring individuals I’ve ever encountered in a hospital setting. Kudos and many Thanks to all.

They got a bipolar scsifrinia person in there right now last three times kicked him out at 2am that's not good for his illness. Let's see if they know how to care for him or kick him out. The hospital already no good. I lost my dad in there. Would not recommend hospital to anyone go to penlton Oregon. If this hospital is so bad can't we as a community close it down.

Worst hospital I have ever seen. It’s worse then a horror movie. Scary I would never go there and would never recommend anybody to go there, they treat their patients like your bothering them, the nurses very rude, had to walk out never seeing a doctor after 3 1/2 hours. Not a place you will feel safe.

A person I know and personally took was seen by, Dr. Alan j Griffin, he wasn't in the room but 2 minutes to access said person without running labs or a CT, made an assumption of infection based off personal opinion instead of medical fact or tests ran, said person did not complain of issues of constipation, he gave him antibiotics and a stool softener and sent person home. When I inquired why certain test were not run as this would be the normal protocol for such symptoms the patient was experiencing. I was met with argument and dismissal, he did not listen to the patients concerns and pushed him through as quickly as he could. This is not medical practice, especially emergency medicine, it is appalling and unacceptable. And will be following up to this, as if this turns out to be a serious medical issue action will be taken for the lack of medical treatment and standard of care. To the board of medicine or wherever is needed

Went last year to their urgent care for a sinus infection. Wasn’t allowed in because i was nauseous. Was told to go home and wait for an over the phone visit. Doctor was unaware we were told to go home and wanted to send a nasal rinse and covid test out to the parking lot. Now they are hounding me about payment ($32) even though i have two insurances. Tried calling their finance line at 2pm on Monday. Got a voicemail saying they were open on weekdays 8am to 5pm.
