Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center reviews
16 It took me almost a week to write this review, after leaving this location so upset, I will likely not ever return.
I went last week with my husband and children, looking for nothing in particular. Had it not been for me promising my daughter the items she found, after the treatment I received from the cashier there. I would have left my items and not purchased a thing.
Two of the items I had personally found were bookends. Tattered. On each of them, a red Goodwill sticker saying 2 for $2.99. Also, Goodwill stickers saying $3.99. I assumed this was because they were damaged, but thought they would look nice on my mantel regardless.
The dark haired teen female at checkout informed me those weren’t good tags - and she wouldn’t honor them. When I asked my husband to put a movie back he had scoffed about, she immediately insisted it was a good movie - but then here’s where it gets weird.
She stops interacting with me. Her customer.
She begins flirting with my husband. I pay. He has his hands on the cart behind me, and she tries to go out of her way to hand him my receipt and my bag.
I have never been treated so poorly in a business in my entire life.
The Springfield GWS is great for that thrifty person. It's my fav out of all the local Goodwills.
It was horrible got up to the cash register with all my items and a lady gets on the intercom and says everyone out of the building there's a bomb in here so all being said everyone was evacuated into the cold weather and without thier items
This is a really big store, everything is pretty clean, nice people, always find something good, but sometimes stuff's a little high, but most part it's thumbs up!
The store is clean and well organized. The staff is so very helpful and very, very nice. Kristie on the register was so helpful and sweet. Thank you Goodwill. Billie McElroy
Hey, I finally found something I wanted on the half off tag. Not even looking. Like Goodwill. Friendly people.
Pretty good on pricing except furniture and appliance donations are absurd in pricing! Needs to change!
They are to high priced on there stuff! St. Vincent de Paul has lower prices and more stuff to look at to buy
I asked if they could mark down a shirt that was ripped at the waist hem and a few snags had to ask supervisor and she said NO.did not get shirt.
Love shopping here, always lots of cool finds. My only issue is the pricing of some items. They get a little crazy and I have actually found things marked higher than they cost in a retail store new.
Great bought like new Levis, roasting pan, shirt, blood pressure monitor, oregon ducks hand made baby suit. All like new, saved lots of $$$$
Great place.most items in good repair.clean store. Friendly employees. Very helpful. I went to the store on 30th in Springfield, Oregon.
The store is always clean even the toilet aisle take very good care of it hey they don't smell stinky when you walk in the door
I can find good and poor stuff here for a good price, I just keep a lookout. I found four kids jackets for my grandchildren and toys to help them be good.
The people who work at this Goodwill store are amazing. They really help the customers and greet everyone. There is a lot to see at this Goodwill.
