Decent pizza. Not exactly Apizza style from New Haven if that is what you were expecting. However it is still pretty good. My main problem is with the pricing. A small pie shouldn't cost an hour's wages.

From standard cheese and pepperoni to creative hazelnut balsamic reduction. The pizza can please all crowds.

If you're a local to St Johns come here before or after you see a movie at twin cinemas.

Makes for a cute date night dinner. The atmosphere is very cozy and hip. Great place to get dinner in half an hour. Or you can get a bottle of wine and take you time.

Excellent pizza. Crust is perfect.
Friendly and accommodating despite limited staff.
Love how Craig switches up the menu periodically with fun new accoutrements.
Worth the wait every time.

We’ve done take out and dine in, and both times this place has been wonderful. We’re so thankful to have them in the neighborhood! The pies, ice cream, and service are all top notch. Can’t wait to come back again!

This place is great! Beautiful interior atmosphere and great energy. I got the Hazelnut Pie and it’s so amazing. The orange oil makes it a really unique item. Love it!

Amazing pizza. Perfect crisp on a sourdough crust. Sauce was unreal. It felt like being in a simpler time. Get there early, sit outside, enjoy this gem.

My girlfriend, her fam is from Italy and so she always knew where to get the best slice. She moved out of state recently and I miss her dearly, sent her a lot of pictures of my pie.
The tomato pie really had me in awe the whole way through.
And everyone behind the counter is just too kind.
Great experience

Pizza was good but not great, too much sauce that made the pizza very heavy. Also very disappointed with the salad…just a handful of lettuce and some slices of radish for $16. Very over priced in my opinion

Pros:
1. The pizza itself was Flavorful and Creative
a. The Crust was amazing.b. The Sauce was spiced just right
c. The Textures / choices are unique
d. Their “special/chef choice” pizza has good imaginations.

2. The Menu was simple and not overwhelming (Quality OVER Quantity)

3. Staff was truly friendly

Cons:
1. Timeframe - My pizza was ready for me in over an hour (Not easy for one person to make all the pizzas)

2. Price Range - For average pizza price is about $17-$18 for a “10 inch pizza is a little steep. (It’s not easy holding up a business in St. John)

Point- I would recommend, just save a little money.

This isn’t just one of the best pizzas in Portland, it is THE BEST.

I am still thinking about the level of craft of the slice I had over 12 hours ago. If you’re constantly looking for the real deal, your search ends here.

It is stupid how good this pizza is vs.how far away from my apartment it is. I will be making pilgrimages to enjoy Craig’s pies. He is sharing an absolutely wonderful gift with this world, and should be supported and commended.

Our first time at their new location, same great pics as always! We got the Daily pizza as well as the Prosciutto and nectarines and it was all delicious. Always worth the trip across town!

Really excellent pizza! My favorite in Portland thus far. You often have to wait or get there before 5 but it’s worth it!

Portland has a lot of great pizza spots, and this place tops the list!

Amazingly high quality pies, flavorful in a way that you can taste the dedication and ingredients sing, with beloved pies that have been on the menu for a while and a creative daily special. Great ice cream too (also creative and fresh ingredients)! Very kind owner and employees, and in a spacious beautiful location. What a local gem!

Get over here ASAP. We had their seasonal pie that had peaches on it. We lucked out when we went several times. Just before 7, we were told they had no more pizza…then had one ball of dough left and then had 2. We asked about the peach pizza but we’re told it wasn’t available that evening, but they could try to make an exception for one. Turns out that had enough peaches for BOTH. We also had their peach ice cream. TO DIE FOR. The owner and staff were wonderful. We followed him from when he would pop up at Pastifico. Will be back!

This is probably a hot take, but I think Gracie's has taken the spot for my favorite pizza spot in PDX. The dough is always so perfectly chewy and charred-Craig is truly a master. The tomato pie is definitely the best, as advertised, but the specials never disappoint. Keep in mind when you visit that Craig makes all the pizzas himself, so the pizzas may take a bit to come out. But just be patient, enjoy some olives and a salad-the wait is well worth it.
