A historical site on the Applegate Trail. If the nearby museum is open, it is well worth a stop. The bridge has been painted recently and is in great shape. A walk along the creek can really clear the mind, and is a good rest break from travel on I5. #BridgesofJosephineCO

It's a nice little stop off to stretch and see another bridge that's covered. I am going to start a covered bridge scavenger hunt and visit all the covered bridges in Oregon.

Absolutely beautiful living history, it was totally worth the quick side track. Also great place to take pics of your car if your into that kinda thing…

My uncle had a big part in building the bridge years ago. I always been playing on or around that Bridge for year's. I remember riding with my dad in one of Howard Coomes log truck and passing a school bus that was coming the opposite direction right on the Bridge and not having any issue's. But she always has stood the test of time. A must see.

Stopped on the way out after our camping excursion. Beautiful piece of history. Would love to come back with my daughters for hiking and exploring. On the summers to do list for sure.

Be careful walking around or near the bridge. If it weren't for the speed umps, people would probably get hit from speeders through this active road, one-lane, historic bridge.
