Kathy, Kyle and the Helix team are sensational to work with. No matter your goals, they customize the approach to help you find success. It’s always upbeat, safe and very hands on. I have always despised lifting weights and I look forward to my twice weekly workouts, I hate missing a day now and it feels so amazing to see my strength and toning increase. Kyle is incredibly helpful, very knowledgeable and professional. Kathy is a true expert on body movement and has helped my husband and I overcome chronic injuries that plagued us long before we joined her gym. This is, by far, the hidden gem of Corvallis strength training. Cant recommend enough.

Hammerheart Strength & Conditioning is the best gym in the Pacific NW. Jordan, head coach and owner at Hammerheart, is nearly full Jedi Master. His primary focus on technique and posture has lengthened my stature. Then he incrementally added weight to my workouts and I am the strongest, tallest and most limber I have ever been. I am 48.9 years old. #butwho'scounting. #Hammerheart workout = fun, sweat, power and chill vibe. #get off couch.

The best place in Corvallis to work out if you're looking to not only get fit but learn how to do it. You'll be taught the tools on how to work out safely and effectively. These skills are invaluable and I'm so lucky to have learned as much as I have from Hammerheart.

I've been working out with Jordan for a few months and have seen some great improvements in my strength. When I have tried working out on my own at other gyms, I usually mess around on the machines a bit and then leave early, so I've never reached my goals. What's nice about Hammerheart is that a coach is telling me what to do and how to do it right. It's also been great working out with a small group of people. Jordan is not only great at giving us workouts, but is also fun to be around.

The classes are accessible for all levels and there is an awesome variation of functional movements and exercises. You learn so much with each class.

This is by far the best fitness experience I have ever had. I have never enjoyed weight lifting or strength training - I was always a cardio junkie, never wanting to do things slowly. But training with Jordan at Hammerheart has completely changed my mindset. He is a fun person to hang out with, he makes you laugh, he keeps it real, and he pays attention to what you're doing in a way that shows he cares about the integrity of your workout (and that he doesn't want you to get hurt). He's also great at switching up the routine every time you go to class, so you never feel like you're just repeating the same exercises every week. He's got backups upon backups, and tons of alterations in case a specific movement isn't working for you (in my case, my knee bothers me a lot, so he modifies what I am doing in order to protect me from injury, but he never lets me get away with not working out that leg). And one more thing I love about Hammerheart is the location - it's private. The windows all face the parking lot, but his gym is at the end of a long building, so no one is walking past on their way to somewhere else, peering in at you while you're red in the face. And if someone does walk past the window, it's probably because they are coming in to sweat with you.

Jordan has been knowledgeable and skillful in helping me clarify and plan my exercise goals. He was realistic about where I was in my conditioning journey-taking in aspects of age and past physical problems. He's compassionate, resourceful, and funny. I highly recommend Jordan for anyone looking for help, hope, and practical exercises to increase your strength, stamina, tone, and balance.

I look forward to my couple hours a week in Jordan's Hammerheart Gym. I'm an active person and yoga teacher. With age, I felt I needed to supplement my yoga training with strength and functional fitness training. I didn't trust myself to use weights without a trainer. Jordan's been great! I feel confident with the weights and I have gained more strength and ease in my body. The hip pain that I had accumulated from too much flexibility training is gone. Yay! I can sit cross legged in meditation for an hour again and stand up without limping. And being pain free and stronger just makes me happier. Thanks Jordan

Hammerheart is an excellent little gym. It's got every piece of equipment I could possibly need, and is somehow both spacious and cozy.
Jordan is professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable, taking an evidence-based, scientific approach to training - a welcome departure from the pseudo- and bro-sciences that seem so pervasive in the fitness world. I have seen him train everyone from beginners to ultra marathon runners (and olympic lifters!) without ever being judgmental or condescending. If you are considering hiring a personal trainer, I could not recommend Jordan enough. Plus, he has a cute dog.

Jordan helped me in every aspect of the workouts, coming from almost no lifting or structured work out experience he is very constructive and focused on proper / safe technique. He would alter normal workouts so that I could hold a straight position or manage weight better. This led to me feeling comfortable and more excited to advance myself. Top notch teacher as well as space, it is homely and had everything one needs for a dynamic work out! Thanks Jordan!

Professional, attentive, Jordan KNOWS his craft. He understands how our bodies work and how to make them strong. He works with you individually to design a program that takes into consideration your ability/sport/situation and then he works to get you to your goals. He works with all levels of abilities and all types of clients. His work over this past year has made my core and back stronger and greatly improved my overall fitness. I won't work with anyone else.

Jordan is an excellent coach. He is thorough in his approach and the one on one or small group setting employed is a huge plus. Would highly recommend him to anyone whether your just getting into weight training as a sport or to improve their game in other arenas.
