Catherine at the front desk is the best! If you arrive during her shift, you will be taken care of promptly, professionally and thoroughly. All of the staff is great. The hotel policy allows dogs so according to my stay, expect to hear dog barking about every other morning. Not a pleasant way to be woke up.

The rooms are newly remodeled, crisp and fresh. Big drawback for me was the night clerk. I went to trade out the feather pillows for poly (allergy) and she basically told me to pound sand. So my wife and I used rolled up towels. Less than optimal for sure. I asked the desk clerk in the morning about it and she told me they did have poly pillows for guests who are allergic to down.

Rachel was wonderful. She helped me find a room at the last minute at the best price. I appreciate how pleasant she was during our interaction. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds.

Don’t stay here it’s under major remodel. It was incredibly dirty and a complete disaster area. Staff was rude. Cheap outdated hotel that has gotten worse and worse. Better off at motel 6.

Was disappointed that the photos online are not updated. They are doing renovations at the moment and have cemented in the jacuzzi from what I saw. Still had an amazing stay, customer service was great. Rooms were very nice and clean. Only sad a little about the hot tub.

Unwelcome and poor experience. The front desk didn’t tell us the elevator, pool, laundry room are all under construction while in check-in. Gym is usable. Non-smoking room can still smell sb’s smoke. The elevator operated like a hunted house with loud vibrations and noise.
Breakfast is the only thing we appreciated the chef still did the quality job on X’mas day. Suggest to confirm the renovation done before book this Inn.

I was so bummed the hottub was out of order because after traveling for 7 hours all I wanted to do was get in the hottub
The service wasn't that good
The washer didn't work and apparently it had recently replaced
I wouldn't stay at location again
I was over priced

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was stocked well. Keep in mind if you are flying in late they do not offer shuttle services as I was told that they do. I noticed 2 other hotels offer late free shuttle services.

Update to properties response: It wasn't a no show, I did contact the property and spoke to Theresa who, as always, was unpleasant, unhelpful, and curt. Also, I did contact Diamond Member Services - twice. They contacted this properties manager who refused.
If you look back through the many dozens of negative reviews on this property, their only response is "per policy".

So, tell you what.you "have a nice day".

I will chime in with the majority of the other bad reviews on this location.
Simply stated, avoid this Hilton property at all costs.
I, and my coworkers, have stayed at this property numerous times over the last few years, frankly because there wasn't availability at the other Hilton property in town, and I can say without exception it has been a bad experience.
Dirty rooms, frequent lack of parking, their handling of the Covid situation was a joke, and their customer service is completely nonexistent, especially from Theresa and the manager.
Diamond status is meaningless here.

This last situation may have saved you a couple hundred bucks due to your lack of flexibility, Hampton Inn Medford, but I guarantee you it will cost you many thousands in lost business.

Our team will stay ANYWHERE in town besides this property going forward.

Third time I have stayed here in the past 6 months. Something has always been wrong with my room. Clogged drains, ac not working, dirty room and uncomfortable beds. I won't be staying here anymore. They lost my business this last time.

There is a thief in this hotel.
After I checked out of the hotel, I realized that I had left my bag containing 1200 dollars in my room.
I received the bag from the hotel late, but all the bags were open and there was no cash. The person who stole my cash would be the one cleaning the room because she took all my $1200 and left only the $3 I left as a tip in my bag. That was a mockery of me and I felt very ill at the level of this hotel staff.
This hotel will be a very bad memory for me.

I’ve stayed at hundreds of Hampton’s. I’m a Diamond level guest. When I had an issue with my reservation here the GM of this Hampton was the least flexible and helpful I’ve ever dealt with. I had car trouble on the way to the hotel and couldn’t make it there. I was literally stranded in central Oregon. I called and booked the room around 9: 00 pm. Called back within an hour and told them I was stuck on the side of the road.

Was this GM helpful and flexible like EVERY other Hampton I’ve visited? No. Charged me $225. It’s policy. Fair enough. I’ve stayed hundreds of nights in Hamptons but I’ll never visit this one. Just remember about Hampton Medford…. If you have a problem the most important thing is this GM getting his money, not your long term customer satisfaction.

Did he follow Hampton’s rules? Of course. I have a Hilton Credit Card. I am a Diamond guest with 100’s of nights. This are things that will change now thanks to a cash-first, inhospitable GM at a single Hampton. Congratulations sir. You got your $225. The corporation will now lose thousands.

UPDATE: I never spoke to the GM. I was connected to a Hilton operator who put me on hold for maybe 10 minutes so he could speak to the GM. I explained that I had car problems to him. He said that the hotel GM has to approve a penalty free cancellation. He returned to the line and said that the GM refused to approve it. As I said in the original review, I understand that this Hampton followed the letter of the rules. In the hundreds of nights I’ve spent with Hilton they’ve always gone above and beyond to help me until now.

The place needs some upgrade.
The bed sheets are some of the thinnest I have ever seen.
My bathroom tile floor is missing lot of grout.

Staff is super friendly. Was always greeted with a Hello or a Good Morning. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast was delicious and the lady in charge of breakfast was super sweet, kind and very attentive. She made sure all the guest that were eatting felt at home. She took the time to talk to each and everyone there.

Do not stay here. Had a reservation for almost a month, confirmed the rate when i made it only for them to change the rate upon check in. The non-smoking floor reeked of cigarettes

If you have to interact with Teresa or her manager you will be highly disappointed. We own a business and would have had all of our staff stay at this hotel if it wasn't for their horrible customer service. These people are extremely rude and inconsiderate and we have been Diamond members for years! Please DO NOT STAY HERE! RUN

Very clean hotel and room (especially bathroom). 4 stars because carpets in room which are certainly not sanitized between stays. The woman working the breakfast / kitchen in the morning was incredibly friendly, fast, and personal. Breakfast was delicious (especially the omelette). Comfy bed! 5 min drive from MFR airport and close to town. If the carpets come out I'd give them a 5/5!

Dated hotel not living up to the Hilton standards. Shower head doesn’t function properly and is too tall to adjust. I am medium height. When discussing the issue with front desk, the lady said that we are an old hotel and they didn’t bother to change when remodeling. Did not honor the reservation rate even when I produced an agency issued credit card, photo ID and a name matched business card from the government organization. Being an Hilton Gold member, I called the member service desk for help. Even though the customer service agent was sympathetic, she could not get the hotel to be flexible. I had to use my points instead. The area has poor cell service. I had to walk to a nearby bookstore parking lot to get better reception, but was approached immediately by a homeless person. The area did not seem safe. There are multiple Hilton properties nearby. I will definitely use a different facility next time.

Bed was super comfy, and I LOVED the pillows. However, not a huge fan of all white linens. My room had a couch and a small workspace so I could work while I was there.

The Continental breakfast was excellent on the first day, but I wasn't a fan of the second days breakfast.

My favorite part? The bow tied in the toilet paper?
