Happy Family Restaurant reviews
15Service is good here. Food choices are good. When I leave this restaurant I'm thinking I'll be back.
This place has awesome food and prices! I cannot stop thinking of eating there. Its awesome!
My son and I ate here for the first time on New Year's Eve. The food was good and the price seemed reasonable. It was not very busy but it took too long for the waitress to take our order. The food was served very quickly. The service was not very good and the server was not friendly. I will return because the quality of the food was good. If a server wants a good tip they need to provide a good service.
Been a patron of this place for as long as I've lived in Molalla (23 years) and haven't been impressed in the past. During the pandemic they were closed to in dinning and I do belive were not even doing take out orders.
Yesterday my family and I ate there for a family members birthday and I was served a 3 year expired beer, my subgum was cold, my rice was crunchy. It felt like I was being served heated up leftovers.
I prefer Lambs for Chinese cuisine in the city of Molalla.
Quick dinner for three.
The service was prompt, and the food was fresh and delicious.
The food is great and the owners wonderful. The only reason for four vs five stars is the prices are pretty high for takeout.
Over the past three or four months I have been extremely satisfied with happy families service in the quality and quantity of the food.
Yes it took it down turn for a while, however it is back and better than it was before in my opinion.
Prices online and in person vary and quality of food has gone down. Dosnt taste like it used to: (but still decent place to dine in or out.
The outside of this restaurant is disgusting! Weeds, not swept, fifty windows I thought it had been closed for months. No one in the restaurant and 2 helpers sitting not caring about the outside appearance. The entrance and stairway, bathroom all gross.
Wish I could review the food. Never got it, couldn't make it thru the ordering process. Ordered pork fried rice. Tried to order vegetable egg foo Young. Turns out those two items are not compatible. You must be a vegetarian to get vegetable egg foo young. Therefore you cannot have pork fried rice. Trying to get sweet and sour chicken blew the whole thing up and I realized there was going to be zero chance of me getting anything I wanted.
Guess when you are the only Chinese restaurant open on a Tuesday in molalla you don't have to even try to have any customer service.
I've felt more appreciated calling the dmv.
Every time i get some sort of fried chicken its swimming in so much sauce it never had a chance to be crispy. Its like the next day after I've put it in the fridge over night and reheated. Szechuan chicken dry. Is what i wanted but it might as well be wet style.severely disappointed
We have always loved the food from Happy Family. We ordered take out tonight. The food was not good! One item, of the seven ordered was good and fresh. Very disappointing! I'm not sure what happened!
They aren't good anymore. They have lost all there flavor. The one entrée I liked that was Vegetables and beef but this time it was 4 peices of beef and all vegetables for 14 dollars. Won't be eating here ever again.
Well the best deal for your money in the area, they barely spoke any English so you know the food was going to be as authentic as you can get it, like 750 to 10 bucks very large plate enough for lunch and dinner.
I used to like this Restaurant, but today I will no longer patronage them. I called to place an order and the woman on the phone was very rude. While I was trying to tell her what I wanted to order, she hung up on me. So, I found a Chinese restaurant in Oregon City to buy from instead, recommended by friends.
