Happy Teriyaki, Portland OR

Small quaint place with delicious food. I got the chicken teriyaki and vegetable tempura. Both were top notch. Highly highly recommend both. Both dishes and a small soda came to $20.75.not too bad with the amount of chicken I got! You can't see it but it's chicken stacked on top of each other in the dish. Yum!

Always perfect. I'm really picky with food but Happy Teriyaki is run by highly professional people who take deep care with what they serve. There's a reason people are constantly in and out of this restaurant. Large portions, always comes with appropriate cutlery and napkins, menu variety is great, and of course flavor is top-notch.

Extra note: Their spicy upgrade is truly spicy, praise them!

First time visiting this restaurant, but will definitely visit again. Delicious food! Care taken with presentation even in a to-go box. You know it's going to be good eats when a local fellow wanders in and orders in fluent Japanese.

Never been here before but I need to come back pronto! Absolutely delicious teriyaki chicken and the menu has many other great options I'd like to try. Good prices and high quality food

I got the chicken and gyoza plate and the chicken lacked sauce and the gyoza sauce had a strange taste. Other than that it was ok

This is the only place I go for Teriyaki, Yakasoba is great! The ribs and chicken is to die for. Food is made to order, always fresh and hot.

There are a lot of teriyaki places and I have had some bad teriyaki. However, Happy Teriyaki is approved by me and my kids! Great flavor, not too salty, and fresh ingredients! Will be our go to Teriyaki place from now on.

This is my absolute go to for teriyaki in Portland. Super friendly service and amazing food.

No frills but super yummy Teriyaki! They are offering To-Go right now, and I got the chicken teriyaki plate. So good! Big portion, chicken was moist and flavorful. Rice was nice and fluffy, and the veggies were perfect - not mushy, freshly steamed. The sauce was really good, not too sweet! No pic because I ate it all

Hello I went in there today the open sign was on and the door was open I walked in very calmly and respectfully and the man that was there was very rude was not wearing a mask and said they were not open and I asked him what time do they open and he just walked off and left me standing there I left and I got my phone to take a picture for a review and then I got in my truck and was getting ready to leave and the man came out and got in my face and was trying to fight me and then his wife came out and was flipping me off I know it's hard times with everything that's going on but I think the public needs to know what kind of people are running that place I'm very respectful and I care about people but what they did to me was very disrespectful it makes me feel like never wanting to eat in one of those places again made me very sad

I love Happy Teriyaki. Their chicken is always moist, their veggies are great though every once in a while they are more al dente than I'd like.but the service is friendly and efficient.very little if any wait time. Its a great place to get a meal after a long day that is healthy and tastes wonderful

This spot has first-rate service as well as tasty menu. My favourite spot around here. The drinks and food arrived quickly and the rates were fair. Highly recommended.
