Harbor Freight Tools reviews
17This place always just what I need in tools and hardware. The only drawback is that their employees aren't very knowledgeable about their products. But their tools are excellent for the home DIYer, but not contractors grade.
Worst customer service ever. I have bought loads of items from this store and I called to ask about a warranty on a brand new item. Was put on hold 3 times in a row and no one ever picked up to help me with my question. I called back the next day and they did the same thing to me. I’ll be shopping somewhere else.
Management is rude and color girl i was no professional and just bad don't spend you money here please go to napa, auto zone, or online bad attitude I was so sad how poor was consumer I speak w management and she make feel like don't like people she said was busy!
Found what I needed, quick in, quick out, helpful staff and reasonable prices. And good hours.
Great place to get tarps, nice verity of sizes and thickness. I got 6 big ones too keep my stuff dry from the rain in Cornelious, Or.
When we need something quick we go here. Also, if we need a bigger item we'll get the insurance, so worth the extra money. Tbh sometimes the quality of the items are touch and go, for the most part it's a great place to get tools.
The owner or manager here is anti-gun. Rifle cases were supposed to be a big item in their parking lot sale. Harbor Freight is a very American company and understands the need for families to defend their homes against intruders and even foreign invaders potentially (this is literally why Japan didn't invade the US in WWII).
I was told the owner or manager of this particular location has some arbitrary limitation on his ability to own or use guns placed on him by an oddball family member. Hopefully this individual is able to appreciate more freedom in the future.
I found what I was looking for and the employee was very nice. They greet you right at the door which makes your feel comfortable. I will shop again there.
The Hillsboro HF is great, it seems to be cleaner and better stocked compared to other locations on the west side of Portland.
Harbor Freight is a great place to great great tools at good prices. The have a wide variety of options and many of the tools I need.
This particular store has excellent customer service and the employees are really knowledgeable.
Lots of variety and very good prices. Usually decent but not top quality tools. The only real downside is it's almost all made in China. That's the unfortunate trade-off for good prices
Upgraded a generator today and received 5 star customer service from Brian. He was helpful, knowledgeable and patient during our purchase.
Great prices, not all tools are great quality but for the average consumer most will work. Still, don't just buy cheap, sometimes spend the money and get something that will last and work better. Harbor freight has new lines of tools coming in all the time and the quality is excellent but they are more on the pricey side but you won't care as it shows when you use them.
The store is always cl an and well organized, finding items is not a hassle and employees are more than happy to answer questions or help.
I went to HF today to buy a couple amazing deals. I missed the fine print on the coupons stating you needed to buy $50 worth of stuff before the coupon price was honored. I ended up making a trip for nothing.
Most tool items either out of stock, or was told was being discontinued. Made trip in from coast, only to find every special of vise, sanding material, chucks, lathe items, driver etc were gone. Most are being discontinued I am told.
