Hat Rock State Park reviews
7I arrived early in the morning when the only others around were a couple of fishermen who pulled in ahead of me. Peaceful. Bathroom facilities but it is a forest service type porta potty.
Great place to stop for a restroom, shade and short hike on gravel path. Lots of paved parking and no entry fee. Could be a good place for a multi-vehicle group to meet and share a picnic meal.
This boat ramp is 9 miles from our home. I love it. Having two docks is nice; last night 3 boats took out in about 10 minutes.
I live here in the mobile/RV park. The owners are awsome. The keep the grounds clean n green. Very nice friendly atmosphere
The view of the stars is amazing from here! We took the kids to see Hat Rock and caught a glimpse of aurora borealis!
It's a cool place for sure. I went during winter so it wasn't green and the bathroom was closed. However it is still a fun little hike to see the hat shaped rock and read about Lewis and Clark and how the rock was formed.stop by and see for yourself.
Nice areas to picnic, fish, hike or even sun bath, but not in January of course. The plaques with historical notes are nice, although some gave been vandalized making them a little harder to read. Lots of trails, can actually walk all the way to Umatilla. Stunning view of the Columbia River.
