Sarah is the most brilliant photographer I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with; Not only is she a talented photographer, but she also has a way of making individuals feel comfortable in front of the camera.
I first met Sarah in a crowded elevator at a bridal event and it didn't take long for me to decide who I wanted to be my wedding photographer. Her photography style is unique and unlike any others, you can most certainly pick her work out from across the room! Her style is a perfect combination of dark moody and bright vivid, I've never seen a photo by Sarah that I did not like!
We chose to do both engagement photos and wedding photos and I am glad we did! We had an opportunity to hang out with Sarah and get comfortable in front of the camera prior to the big day. We knew exactly what to expect and she exceeded those expectatioms! It was a wonderful feeling to have what felt like a friend capture the most important day of our lives. We will always reccomend Hazelwood Photo and we will definitely be using her in the future!

My fiancé and I traveled from NJ to Portland for pleasure and while there we decided to do engagement photos! Since I am not from the area I did a google search for best engagement photographers in the area and came across hazelwood photos. Lets just say Sarah is amazing! She made us feel so comfortable and the photos came out beautifully! She also got them to us very quickly! Highly recommend!
