Head’s & Tails Grooming, Gresham OR

Our appointment was at 8am. My friend's long hair cat had mats and wanted them shaved off. The proper expectations were made understood, and they took the job knowing he was a long haired kitty with mats. Three and a half hours.after the cat was dropped off for the appointment time, we were called to pick him up. He was given sedatives to make him calm/drowsy. When we picked the kitty up, he was in the same room as three dogs. The employees vaguely said, "He was too aggressive". And that "they tried multiple times. After that long, I don't believe they tried at all. He had no hair shaven, and they didn't even try to clip his mats (didn't even try using mat cutters or grooming scissors). This is not a cat friendly place, they left the cat sitting in a kennel for all that time, and I would not recommend this place to any cat owner.

I have called this place 9 times in the last 2 weeks trying to find a new groomer for my doodles. I am unable to reach anyone on the phone and am unable to leave a voicemail. I wish that I could have left a better review. I understand being busy, but I find it unprofessional to not have a voicemail set up so that people can leave a message to at least make some sort of contact.

Highly recommend. Did a great job with my golden retriever and they were super patient with me and all my questions. Great experience.

$10.00 for cat nail trimming which is pretty common from my experience as a pet owner. When I called with questions before I came in they were very helpful and informative and had me come by that morning. My cat is a little stubborn with nail trims and the ladies working did their best to be quick and safe with her. Definitely going back again for future grooming!

We and our cats love coming here. Deb is awesome! She listens to what we ask and is very attentive and caring with our pets. Very skilled and professional outfit. Make and appointment with Deb and let her make ur babies happy

Very good place to take your pets. They do my miniature schnauzer in about 1.5 to 2 hours and thats a full groom. Very friendly and caring staff. Prices are good and always a happy puppy when i get to pick him up.

I've taken my dog to a few different groomers in the area, but after our visit to Paws-A-While in Gresham, I'm happy to say that the search for our favorite grooming salon is finally over. The new owner was so nice and inviting, as well as quick & affordable! Would highly recommend taking your pet to them. By far the best in town!

Friendly and Fast service.we took our two dogs - one Maltese and one Yorkie to be groomed here. We live out of town and only go to Gresham and Portland once a week. Paws-A-While made every effort to work around our schedule while in town. Furthermore, our pups came out looking so cute! They are AWESOME folks - I HIGHLY recommend everyone take their pets there for grooming.
