Heceta Beach RV Park, Florence OR

Best time at this place. The staff is like family. They truly want you to have a great stay. Park is very nice and close to beach. Will be coming back

I stayed here for multiple months & was greeted everytime I saw staff, extremely friendly & helpful crew. Would recommend this park to all of my friends & family, very peaceful as well as spacious. The folks running the place and at the main office do a great job at making you feel at home & doing anything they can to make your stay comfortable.
Honestly I still come here to get propane sometimes, an amazing establishment

The staff was fantastic and made us feel welcomed and cared about. The campground is beautiful and well maintained. The 5 minute walk to the beach was also very nice! 10/10 would stay there again!

We have been using the Oregon Coast as a reunion site for our family for years. We moved from campground to campground every couple of years until we found one we really liked outside of Coos Bay.but then it was sold to new owners.and then another set of owners.then sold to a corporate ownership.and then it all became about the money and no service. It was horrible. We stumbled upon Heceta Beach RV last year on short notice of our frustration with our usually campground. They welcomed our group with open arms. This park is great.its quiet.its clean.and best of all.the staff is amazing. Don't be fooled by the fact that you have to call in and speak with someone for reservations or that they don't email you confirmations.they talk to you.they ask questions and work with you to give you a great experience and make sure that your accommodations will be correct. In all honesty.this will be our go to for many years in the future as long as they continue to provide the excellent family type of service they have given us over the past 2 years.

Stumbled upon this RV Park while road-tripping through Oregon and couldn't have been more pleased; it exceeded our expectations! Clean park & facilities, excellent customer service & staff, a short walk to a beautiful beach and a quick drive into the coastal town of Florence. Each spot is surrounded by hedges/bushes, providing ample privacy as well. Small store for basic needs, and a laundry area- speaking of, they kindly helped us figure out how to ship home a left behind load of laundry.now that's what I call classic & caring customer service! A short walk to the beach. Our site had strong WIFI. Friendly office staff. Would stay here again

We spent a full week here while exploring the Central Oregon coast and attending a vintage travel trailer rally. The hosts went out of their way to make everyone's stay pleasant.

The men's bathroom and showers was very clean. The grounds were well maintained and neat. I look forward to staying here again.

This looks amazing you know what let me tell you something so if I was here I would have been extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely sorry extremely textremely extremely extremely excited!

We love coming here. Our camping group always has a wonderful time. The park is well maintained and the staff is great, always looking out for your needs to make the stay comfortable. Mike and staff keep the park running smoothly. We recommend you give it a try.

Tent sites are very private and spacious. The staff keeps the facilities looking nice. The general store is very convenient. Great location. I am honored to have been a guest.

Stay Away
I should have known what type of person I was dealing with during the phone conversation while booking my stay. The male person on the phone was very abrasive and appeared irritated with simple questions I had regarding the reservation. I have been RVing for years and thought maybe he was having a bad day. Upon checking in I was given a site number and told there was no refunds allowed, which I thought was odd. After disconnecting my tow vehicle and while backing into my site. This same person, who apparently is the manager approached and asked if I said something condescending to one of the staff. I said I did not. However, unbeknownst to me my wife had called a person in the office and asked if there were any other spaces available. My wife said the person was very rude and apparently, they had words. The person acting like the manager began cursing at my wife and told us to “Get the *** Out of the RV Park. Yes, this is when I became upset and advised the person acting like the manager to tone down his behavior and upon a refund, we would leave the premises. The person acting like the manager said he was calling the police! I said go ahead; I hadn’t done anything wrong. Apparently, this wasn’t good enough and the person acting like the manager continued to scream while cursing to leave the RV Park. To the point that people were coming out to see what the commotion was about. Another couple had stopped and told me the person acting like the manager was a “A” Hole and had a drinking problem. As I was in the office getting a refund, the person acting like the manager continued his tirade. I asked him his name which he refused to provide me. After several request, he finally said his name was “Bob”. In closing, in my 65 years, I have never been treated in this way by anyone and no one should be subjected to this type of behavior. Apparently other reviews have complained of this type of treatment and “Bob” was known to other RV Resorts as a bad person with a drinking problem. I eventually went to the Woahink Lake RV Resort and “WOW” what Great people and the RV resort is fantastic. Please do yourself a favor and same a headache. Keep driving past the Heceta Beach RV resort and stay at the Woahink Lake RV Resort.

We had no issues with the management. A few things on why we are giving this place a 3.1. The wifi is pretty much non existent.
2. You cannot pick your own spot.
We made our reservation for 9 days 3 months in advance and feel we got one of the worst spots in the place.
3. Gravel, gravel and more dirty, dusty painful gravel. (Owners keep this park immaculate)
4. The laundry is only open until 5pm. If you're traveling for work and are working 7 to 7 this is a useless feature.
Those are the issues we feel the park has control over. Now for the things they cannot control but impact your stay dramatically.
1. Verizon has no service here. So no wifi, no cell service is hard on working travelers.
2. Very loud. The road noise is unbearable. Also, In the time we were there, there were 3 big auto accidents. The adjoining neighborhood is loud.
3. The walk to the beach is uncomfortable and not as close as one would think. You have to walk on a busy road. There are no walking trails no sidewalks.
We would definitely stay for a night or two, but not an extended stay again.

We're used to RV parks being somewhat disappointing. This one wasnt! It's very clean, very well organized and fairly priced. People were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

Beautiful park with well kept, private spaces, great Wifi and plenty of room for us and our two dogs. Although it’s a short walk to the beach, you can hear the ocean from your site and it’s very relaxing. The restrooms are sparkling clean, well lit and showers are nice and warm with great water pressure. There is a well-stocked store on the property with friendly staff. Enjoying our current stay and looking forward to coming back!

We have stayed here 3 times and have had a great experience each time. The park is clean, very well cared for and the management is excellent!
It’s quiet, nice vegetation between sites and the bathrooms are very clean.
The beach is a short walk and there are nearby neighborhoods with quite streets to walk.
We highly recommend Heceta Beach RV Park.

Very nice campground clean And the staff was very friendly and had all our paperwork ready the minute we arrived. The sites were groomed and clean before arrival. Sites are well spaced and you can easily drive through the campground. We had a nice quiet peaceful stay and we’re only a quarter-mile from the beach. We’ve stayed in a lot of campgrounds this would be in our top list. You can tell the management really cares.

They are RIGID on their cancellation policies. I made a mistake and double booked us. We needed June 27-July 6. They could only accommodate a June 27-July 3. So we held that part of the reservation while we found another location to accommodate the entire stay. We never received a notice or email that we still had this reservation. So on the morning of I called "Mike" to cancel. Apparently due to MY mistake they will not refund ANY of our charges. I said it's a July 4 weekend don't you think you will be able to rent it out? He said "well Doug, it's policy". So shame on me for forgetting to cancel the reservation. Shame on them for not ever sending me an email with my reservation. Just seems to me an honest mistake and one that they will not even consider helping us out. I know they would have rented out the site on a busy July 4 weekend but they wouldn't even consider working with me.
