Hendricks Park reviews
17I worked there putting in water features and water fountains. It's a big beautiful park.
Beautiful well kept park. Great for a picnic, short hike or just to hang. Beautiful plants and trees.
If you're looking for a beautiful and quiet hike with or without your dogs you need not go any farther than right here. The woods are so thick you'll forget that you are still in town. The trails are clean and well cut. I have not had the chance to explore all of it yet, but I do have that goal in mind.
You DEFENITLY could get lost out here! Had some great sessions out here, years apart but they were awesome! I also came out just to get some fun shots too.
As Good As Central Park in NY. Truly not to be missed the park is endless and so pristine yet walkable and accessible.
Hendricks park is a amazing place, good spot to hang out with your significant other late at night. Or chill and relax, one of the best spots to get out of the summer sun!
Very pretty park. We had a relaxing walk. It is a great place to stroll and chat with good friends.
We moved to Eugene after visiting Hendricks park in the Spring! If you visit Eugene, this is a must see place to have a picnic or walk around!
PRETTIEST PLACE EVER! It’s clean and i love how quiet it is.there’s plenty of parking lots too.would love to come here again!
Great park on east side of Eugene. Never too busy, well maintained trails, beautiful nature. Many berries
What a great experience. We saw a deer on oak loop trail. Lots of fairly steep grades and lots of easy ones too. You have to take the steep ones if you want to see the cool things though. Some weird stone table on one of the trails.
Beautiful grounds. I've taken engagement photos here. When the Rhodies bloom it is especially beautiful!
Nice park but difficult to get to. Maybe it was my GPS being weird but driving through narrow, winding residential streets made the way in feel like going through a maze. We missed most of the rhodie blooms. Tough trails for my elderly mom, but she wants to go back anyway. Peaceful and beautiful place.
Love this park. In the Spring all the rhododendrons and dogwood are beautiful in bloom. Pets are not allowed in the park. There is a covered picnic area that can be rented for gatherings or there is plenty of grassy areas. There is no playground. They do have restrooms near the main entrance.
This place is gorgeous. Good driving, hiking, and views. The only thing I’d recommend is avoid sundown, the bugs are crazy
My favorite park in the area and in my top 5 anywhere. The rhododendron garden is particularly beloved! My electric wheelchair manages the trails there okay, so long as they aren't too steep - there's a few areas I can't get to, but most of it is accessible. Especially lovely when the rhodies are in bloom (usually some period from March to June), but there's always something pretty to look at. Pair it with a trip to Prince Pückler's for a lovely date night!
Beautiful park that is well maintained. Many access points to get and paths to explore. You totally feel like your away from the hustle of the city.
