Highway Trailer Sales & Services reviews
15They said that they had RVs a couple of RVs we got there they did not have any RVs at all it was a wasted trip we were not happy
Zach was very friendly in helping me with my needs. Sadly my car is in no position to transport one of these trailers. Gave me some good pointers and made some good suggestions. When and if I am able to buy I would come back.
Always take care of our RV. Excellent customer service and their technicians are top notch. They contacted me as they went through diagnosis and repair of water heater and propane lines. Installed new TV antenna and would not let me retrieve the RV until the sealant was sealed to its entirety. Friendly and welcoming. Strict arrival and p/u times so pay attention! They do all our services on our Cougar.
Corey is a class act. He showed us what we were interested in, keeping it in perspective of what options we would like to have without pushing for something larger, or more extravagant.
Knowledgeable is Golden, come get your trailer needs here if your in the area. These peeps know there stuff and carry most of your needs and if they don't have it they send ya the right direction. KUDO'S
Avoid this place if you can. Non truthful and bait and switch. Waited weeks to get in to have a fan put in my cargo trailer and when I pulled the trailer in the price they gave me prier almost tripled. Told me I should have not listened to the person I spoke with over the phone to get a price. Dan Connally "service manager" made the comment we have so much worked backed up we don't even really want to do this and we can't do it for that price. Make the drive to Portland or Eugene. In response to your response. I can not cut a hole in my cargo trailer roof. You can. I am not a certified RV technician (clown) YOU are. If I install the fan the roof warranty would be void. This is why I got a quote from you March 3rd. Appointment was on 23rd. Once again stating misleading BS
Very friendly and honest salesperson. We'll be thinking hard about the fifth wheels we toured. Thank you for your help and knowledge, Zach!
We went to the RV Show at the state fairgrounds and found a trailer that we loved. By the end of the day we were putting a $1000 deposit down and signing an agreement that it would be non-refundable unless we could not get financing. After the show we went home and called our mechanic to check to see if our pickup could pull the trailer we wanted. We discovered our pickup would need a lot of work in order to be able to tow it or we would have to buy a new one. We were not financially able to buy a new one and over the course of the time since we called to tell them we could not get it because we had no way to pull it, we have put over $5000 in our pickup and have another $2700 fix that must be done shortly. We have to somehow find the money for that. Also, right after we got involved with these people our daughter was diagnosed with cancer and is a single mother, so we had no choice but to help her out, and the Covid pandemic hit, we really could have used that money a lot more than this company who took it just because they swore they could have sold that trailer many times over the two months they were waiting for us to get our money issues settled so we could finance it, even though I told them to go ahead and sell it then and we could get another one later. First of all those shows are set up to entice people to buy and are hard sell situations. We didn’t go with any intentions of buying, but found ourselves doing just that before the day was over and then they knew exactly what they were doing taking our deposit like that! They saw a couple of suckers who were so excited and really wanted that and set us up, we didn’t even think about our pickup until we got home. So sad there are thieves like this still out there working innocent old people like us! Retirement isn’t quite what we expected thanks to Highway Trailer! I would never work with these people! In fact, I wish I didn’t have to give them any stars! Go see Mike at Portland RV, what a wonderful family man and he has been in the business his entire life and his father before him, and in the same location!
I just read that last comment from John Smith and they did the exact same thing to me last summer about installing my Fantastic roof fan in my cargo trailer. Quoted me $250 labor and had to wait two months for my appointment. Got there and the service dep manager said oh no this will be between $600 - $800 I said no thanks. Took it to Eugene.
My Wife and I went to “look” at a used class A rv, in September of 2020.
We went and fell in love with a 2018 Thor ACE, with less than 5000 miles.
We went through it and the sales guy said that it would be cleaned and make sure everything would be in working order, to our liking, all questions will be answered, and that we have 30 days to make sure EVERYTHING is working!
Well when we went to get it we had some young guy who didn’t know ANYTHING about the RV, because they usually only sell trailers. I said they all have black and gray tanks can you go through the process of doing it, it was like I wanted to pull his teeth!
We got the head service guy, and he kept saying we usually sell trailers.when we got inside it was dirty so dirty we couldn’t believe it! Asked that we wanted it cleaned. They sent in the first guy we dealt with, and he didn’t have a mask on!
Thanks that did work was not working and the service department kept saying, yep you guessed it, “ we don’t usually sell RVs only trailers! ”
We went to another RV seller!
They had trailer winterization parts and materials available when I needed them. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Thanks a bunch.
Outstanding dealership.
I've never bought an RV from them but their shop, office staff, and parts dept are 5 star all the way.
Thanks for all your help throughout the years.
Worst people ever. I didn't know living out of your RV was Taboo. The thing that bothers me the most was we put 1000.00 down on a unit that was everything to us. And to have it ripped out of our hands was unforgivable to a person that all you had to say is stop saying how comfortable it would be to live out of. Not even that we were going to live out of it.
ASSHATS EXCEPT OUR SALESPERSON STILL THINK THE KID WAS AWESOME. THE ONLY PERSON THERE I WISH WELL.
Great inventory.nice staff but one salesmen said are truck would pull a new trailer found out from another employee it was not true!
It's probably just the pandemic causing it but they didn't have anything I stopped in for. But they were friendly and helpful.
