I was very impressed with the staff Extremely nice and knowledgeable is very enjoyable experience.

Our home was completed 10/2020. Since that time there have been changes in both management and personnel at the Hiline Redmond location. I’ve needed to call on them to address a couple warranty repairs and I’m very impressed with their response. Specifically, Regional Manager Brian Harding. He and his crew went above and beyond. I’ve never dealt with a contractor that was willing to go to the lengths they did to honor a warranty. I would feel confident recommending Hiline Homes Redmond to freinds and family because of Brian’s sincerity and respectful handling of my concerns.
Additionally, the office staff, Dianna Hudspeth & Bria Harnden were
always responsive, pleasant and on top of things which played a big part in my overall great experience with Hiline. Good work and sincerity are increasingly hard to find these days.

Hiline Homes has been just as difficult if not more so than hiring a small business contractor, which is what I was trying to avoid by going with Hiline. They proved themselves to be very unreliable and disrespectful. It has been 2 years and they are still not complete with my home. We have had 4 different project managers now and they all act like they have no idea what is going on with our home. The only hold ups are on their end. We have had 30 inspections done by the city and Hiline so far has failed 26 of them. One of the reasons they failed inspections where due to using the wrong materials. I went with Hiline because they are a big company and advertised their integrity when I signed up. Their motto and logo and quality has since changed. The main issue is the lack of honesty and quality Hiline holds with their customers. If I could give a zero star I would, please save your self the torment and do not hire Hiline to build your home. Pictured is where Hiline’s hired tradesman urinated inside our home while I am paying for a portable toilet to be maintained at the construction site. Hiline Homes in Redmond Oregon has no expert care or knowledge for their customers.

- replying to Hiline’s response here because emailing customer care has only gotten me a pre-typed automatic reply that does nothing for me; My property was inspected and approved by Hiline of Redmond before we looked at designs. I picked a one-story house model. I see there being no issue with a sloped property as framers build homes on cliff slides everywhere. It is very standard and not uncommon.

Pointless they give you very minimum details. All I wanted was information and couldn't even come close to getting it. If you don't already have your property don't bother. I wanted to see about loan for both and got nowhere.

We bought a HiLine Home from someone who had it built custom and then moved before they lived in it…. And so many things were wrong with it. I am not sure what the project manager did because nothing was quality. Shower units weren’t sealed, well was installed improperly, furnace installed improperly, floors creaked everywhere, and we just kept finding things to fix. Even found a totally unsealed crawl space full of mold. They told us our warranty wouldn’t cover any of it. Not one single thing. I even have an email from them saying we should sue the previous owner for their building mistakes! That does not seem right to me!

Their website makes it seem like you can build a home with them from a distance, but their project managers are NOT held to any standard of quality. Unless you can check on the build yourself every minute of every day you risk getting shoddy workmanship with zero recourse. We tried to work it out with the company directly numerous times and got nowhere.

Their work is substandard. Their warranty is useless. There are laws about building codes for a reason, to protect peoples health. Hi Line only cares about not being liable. They do not care about dangerous substandard work.

In addition, they wrote a slightly threatening reply to this review saying they were going to “make notes in my file” and then took it down. We fixed everything on our own dime and will never buy a HiLine home ever again.
