Our favorite local pup shop! My dog, Mila, adores the staff here and they always greet her with treats. Their “barkery” is full of amazing treats…peanut butter mini tennis balls, pumpkin mini “Chuck-It” balls and always a seasonal special. We can’t say enough good things about the staff and their homemade goodies!

I love browsing this place and getting fun treats for my dog, but I had a very uncomfortable interaction with an employee that makes me hesitant to come back here.

The employee came up to me out of no where to tell me she had a problem with the type of collar I was using on my dog, and then tried to convince me to buy a harness. This was extremely unsolicited and out of the blue; I was just standing there with my dog while she said hi to another pup, and the employee came over and started asking me about her collar. I shouldn’t have had to, but I explained that I used to work in the veterinary field and that her collar was completely safe when fitted and used properly, and was approved by multiple vets and trainers. In the middle of my sentence she walked away and went back behind the counter.

I found it EXTREMELY unprofessional not only to judge me and throw unsolicited advice in my face, but then to just walk away without even letting me finish my response. I really hope management takes this seriously because they will lose customers when their employees treat them like this.

This is Clancys favorite pit stop. Everyone here is always so kind to us and the barkery is simply adorable. 10/10 recommend!

I love this place. I'll be honest - I'm dumb. I COMPLETELY forgot to get a cake for our dogs birthday. I called, thinking there was no way they had any cakes left (I called after 4pm) but magic happened and they had one cake left for the day that had not been decorated yet. I claimed it, and got them to decorate using blue and pink icing since it was both our dogs were celebrating their birthday. I was VERY satisfied with the outcome, but more importantly, our dogs devoured the cake. They LOVED IT! I am 100% returning to order more cake for future events for our dogs and treats! We picked up some Tennis ball treats and CBD treats to help with their anxiety for the fireworks tonight (4th of July). Will give them later and hope my two Aussies will feel the effects of the CBD and just chill out and ignore the loud booms tonight.

Great store, wonderful staff who genuinely seem to love its canine clientele (who are welcome, as long as they're leashed). They are knowledgeable about the store's products and@! -;°2 take the time to answer questions‐‐ so you feel confident in your purchases.
You can browse at your own pace, among the varied stock. Ask questions or not, AYW.
Plus, they have a cool looking bakery right inside the door. Visually striking g, altho Nicky (pug) hasn't tried their products yet.
And fir a dollar, they sell Puppichinos: my pugs favorite,: we take it outside qnd he imbibed while sitting on the benches outside. My only complaint is their return policy: they only store credit, if the purchases are eligible, they never give cash back for returns.

Lucy says the bacon cheese waffle was the perfect snack after our hike to the Rose Garden.

The place is very dusty and hadn’t been cleaned/swept for a long time. Overall, they seem to be too busy with chit chat/gossiping rather than helping customers. Management team and supervisors gossip constantly and are incompetent. I will never shop here again or support this business.

Tasty treats for our dog that looked like the most beautiful pastry treats for humans we saw in the window a few doors down.

I LOVE this little pet supply store. They carry Primal Kitchen goat milk as well as some of my dog’s favourite treats! The workers are friendly and the bakery always has the most delicious looking goodies on display. We recently ordered a birthday for our rescue dog Kershaw. They made him a little custom baseball topper instead of a tennis one. Needless to say, our dog LOVED it and the cake itself. Thank you, Hip Hound!

Love the wide selection and awesome goodies. Staff are also super friendly and made our visit great. Will definitely be back!

The only place I go for pet supplies. They have high quality treats and pet foods. The staff is incredibly nice and share treats with the pets when they come in. I got some of the pet baked goods for my dog's birthday party. Just a great local pet shop in NW Portland.
