One of the best stays I've ever had! John is a wonderful host. Very kind and great man. The room is extremely clean and the whole property is just gorgeous! Very cool to get to stay in a piece of history like this. The breakfast he made us was fantastic! I will absolutely be adding this as a must stop on all our future trips through this area. If your looking for a clean room, a great breakfast, and a wonderful host. Look no further!

Super comfortable. We were able to walk to our choice of restaurants for dinner. We had the most delicious breakfast, I don't think I will need to eat for a week! The coffee was plentiful and deliciously strong. John is a great host. Make the time to enjoy breakfast and his company.

Super cool renovated house from the late 1800s. John the host/owner is really nice and made our stay a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

The house was very conveniently located, clean and lovely.
The bed was comfortable and my room had a private bath with an old claw foot bathtub in it!
Jon (John?) the host was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
Breakfast in the morning was the cherry on the top!

John was the perfect host! And the room (we stayed in the room with 2 beds) was large, extremely clean, quiet and air-conditioned. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was charming. His rates were incredibly reasonable, considering that a delicious breakfast came with our stay. Thank you so much, John!

This is one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen before even stepping inside. John has a beautiful garden that is well-loved and taken care of. Stepping foot into the guesthouse and walking into my room I sat on the bed and went straight to sleep. It was surprising at how comfortable the room was, I've never stayed anywhere near this nice and I don't think I've ever been able to sleep as well as I have here. John will make you breakfast and was extremely accommodating when I asked for an 8: 30 serving time. The guesthouse is located within walking distance of Roseburg's best Restaurants such as Dino's Italian and Alexanders Greek Cuisine but is just far up the street enough that it's quiet even during the day.

John and Vicki are great, we stayed in the cottage after a snow storm knocked out our power.

By far the best Bed and Breakfast you will ever stay at. Do yourself a favor and chat with John; he's delightful!
