Fast, affordable, quality workmanship. Took in some old boots that were totally shot, I thought I’d get laughed out the door. Instead, I have my favorite boots looking like new again. Only took TWO days! I’ll return again and again!

Alex is so friendly! I have had many english riding boots repaired by him. He does great work, fast turn over, and even remembers not to shine the inside of the boots. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you Alex!

This place is great! I brought over my "stinky work shoes" which are a pair of black stiletto pumps that I wear to work and tend to stink up badly. I paid for him to repair the heel, and not only was it a great deal for a few bucks, he de-stinked my shoes and also polished up all of the scuffs on them too!

It wasn’t shoes that I had repaired, but the canvas case for my harp that I use every day for work. Hollywood Shoe Repair did a fantastic job patching tears and reinforcing the carrying handles.

Excellent work, quick turnaround, knowledgeable, reasonably priced. The shop is run by a traditional, oldline cobbler who knows his trade, knows leather, and knows how to repair shoes. This cobbler doesn't take shortcuts. Shoe repair shops like this are a vanishing breed and this shop is a real treasure.

So fast and so reasonably priced. Will absolutely be going back for any future shoe repair needs.

They glued soles that were falling off my boots, they started coming off 6 months later, I brought them back and they gave all sorts of excuses such as "we didn't repair those", never going back and don't recommend

If you want to get screamed at over the phone, definitely call the guys at Hollywood Shoe Repair. I called to ask a simple question. I am going out of town for a few days and wanted to bring 3 pairs of shoes to get cleaned while I am away. The man screamed "1 or 2 business days" and when I asked for clarification (it will only take 1 or 2 days? I can only leave them 1 or 2 days?) He SCREAMED "1 or 2 days" and slammed the phone back on the receiver. I'm glad I never have to meet that guy.

Asked if he could repair the soles of my boot. His response: "No. No. I cannot perform miracles". Then he looked at me in disgust and pushed them away. I walked a couple blocks down to Portland Shoe Repair on Sandy and the guy said no problem, would have them done in 5 days, $45.

I wish I had before and after photos to post. A grommet holding the strap on my Dansko mary janes fell off and when I took them to a shoe repair shop at the mall, the guy told me I had to contact Dansko to get them repaired. So, I found Hollywood Shoe Repair and it was better than I expected. I just showed up with the shoe, he fixed it on the spot and polished them which left them looking almost brand new. He was friendly, and the price was totally reasonable and worth every penny. I will recommend his service and bring all my shoe repairs to him in the future.

Excellent work. My shoes are always ready on time and done perfectly. I don't mind paying a little extra for craftsmanship, but it's really not expensive.

I tried to have a pair of boots resoled elsewhere and was told they could not help and if they could have it would be weeks. In comparison, Hollywood Shoe Repair said yes, it took two days, and my four year old boots look like new. I don't have a comparison for cost.but it was less than a new pair, so I am happy!

Great new soles on both pairs of my Danner boots and a good polish and leather treatment to boot. Quick turn around as well. Bring your ol school check book.
