My husband and I came to this place on 12/27/23 to obtain dog licenses for our two senior dogs. The staff that assisted us was helpful and thorough. It only took a total of 20 minutes and cost $60.00 and we were given the dog tags that exact same day, which is a reasonable price, plus this is going to help the shelter pets. We are very happy with our first experience of the place and how wonderful the staff is. We will definitely consider possibly adopting from this shelter in the future. Keep up the awesome work! Thank you for all you do for the shelter pets!

Went in to get paperwork for my dog and this lady was extremely rude. When making a comment that my dog’s spay was visible she said that we should ask the sheriff. Completely out of order from this lady, very rough with paperwork and told us to get out for asking that question. She also got infront of us while trying to open the door and told us to get out. I don’t like to see this behavior from somebody that works with animals.

They took such great care of my kittens, even when one had an infection. We called them and they told us to come in for an antibiotic shot. Super responsive and so helpful! So grateful for their affordable care!

Homeward Bound is an amazing place. I have a very excitable pup & her energy is a lot for anyone. The employees here were very patient with her, able to easily administer a sedative and patient with all of my new dog mom questions. The healing process was thoroughly explained to me and Eden is now completely healed and doing great.
Thank you to everyone there!
I highly recommend this place especially if you need an affordable option for spay/neuter care.

Dr. Jen is one of the most amazing human beings I have ever met in my entire life. Not only do they spay cats and dogs, she also spays fancy rats for an incredibly low price. Before we switched to a resource hub, Dr. Jen helped economically spay probably over a hundred rats for Great Compassion Rat Rescue. This is one of those vets that works because she loves what she does and she loves the animals she never makes you feel as if she is concerned with making tons of money. She will never turn away an animal in need. I wish we lived closer but it's definitely worth the hour-and-a-half drive. The staff is all very helpful and Dr. Jen loves your animals as much as you do.

Inexpensive, great resource if you have pets or as in our case, rescued a Mom and her litter and needed to get everyone neutered or spayed.

Took my pup here to get neutered, everything went smoothly! Must cheaper than inner city Portland. Highly recommend!

Including neuter, nail trim, flea prevention, microchipping, out of resident cost and the cone = $190

Their intake and check out process is so efficient and you have hardly any wait time. The staff was very helpful and so friendly and they treated my fur baby. With so much love. I would recommend homeward bound, pets spay and neuter clinic to anyone!

I have NEVER been treated so rudely as I was today at this clinic by an elderly volunteer with white hair! My husband and I brought our dog this morning to drop off for neuter. I called from parking place in back and was told to bring him in the front door. Pulled up close to the side of the building, as it was snowing hard, hubby has a bad leg. Knew we would not be there more than a few minutes. I was going to get our dog one of of his blankets, and she said, "We do this all day long! " Then I asked if we were able to leave and she almost yelled, Yeah, go! " As we were walking out she followed us out the door. She said not to park where we did there are parking signs, and proceeds to point out each sign saying, "See the sign, see the sign, see the sign? ! " I apologized and told her my husband who is of color has a bad leg, and I did not want him falling. She could have politely said, could you please move your car? We were not blocking the driveway. Cars could still freely come and go. I tried later to call twice, leaving my name and number to double check on the pick up time. No return call. When my husband and I returned to get our pup, I again pulled into a back parking spot and called. It rang and rang and I got the answering machine, so I hung up. I told hubby maybe we are just supposed to go to the door like this morning? The door was locked, so I knocked. The same lady came to the door barely opening it a few inches. I told her we were there for Apollo. She says, "You didn't call! " I told her that I had called twice earlier to check on pick up time, and once from the parking lot, and I got the machine each time. So she opens the door making sure we hear her say and another customer who was there, breaking the rules, breaking the rules, quite loudly! " I said, You were rude to me this morning, and are being rude to me now, and I am not sure why? " She said she was rude this morning because I blocked the whole driveway! I then told another lady there I was sorry. I was calling and no one answered! The white haired lady says quite loudly, "She isn't even associated with the clinic! " I said it did not mean I could not talk to her! She left the lobby telling another lady quite loudly that our dog was the one WHO WHINED AND WHINED AND WHINED ALL DAY! Extremely rude! So another very sweet lady brought our baby out. Because of her, I WILL NOT BE BACK!

Listen, my dog needed to get fixed and I looked and called a bazillion places and these guys had the nearest available dates and the most affordable rates. It seemed great when we checked in, and stuff like that. The people in the scrubs were super sweet, giving my boy all the compliments because he was being so good and he’s a very gorgeous dog. Was even super good for when he got his shot and getting put in the kennel. My dog has separation anxiety, so when I left he started doing the malamute thing… singing the song of his people. I got a call a lot earlier to come pick him up and the lady that called was quite curt with me. When we came to get him. She didn’t let me go straight back to comfort him, business first, my partner was taking care of it. Then I hear a male doctor say in a very peeved and semi aggressive tone “it’s time to be quiet now. ” A paid for a nail trim. They cut down past the quick on two of his nails. As we were leaving, the receptionist said “Oh good now we’ll have peace. ” As I was trying not to cry, the pro to this place is that their back of house people are kind, and the prices aren’t bad…. That’s it. I will never take my boy back here ever again.
