Hood River Mountain Bike Adventures

My experience was 100% excellent. Pickup was extremely easy and the bikes I rented were even better than expected. It also made a big difference that Mitchell, the owner of Dirty Fingers Bike Shop, tuned them personally. We East-coast riders should have crashed many times, but instead we had one of the best totally clean rides ever.

Best bike tour ever! I was staying in Portland and rented a car to get Hood River. Definitely worth the drive. My bike ride was customized for my ability/energy, and the scenery was amazing. Greg was kind, attentive, and encouraging the whole way. He gave me riding tips, was patient with me, and was a great conversationalist. Felt like a fun bike ride with a friend. Couldn’t recommend more. Even left with some swag—excited to rep this company back home.

We rented three mountain bikes for me and my sons to use at Post Canyon. I called and left a message and got a text back almost immediately from Greg who was able to answer all my questions and set us up with the bikes we needed. Pickup was smooth and easy and they provided helmets and a pickup tailgate pad to hang the bikes. The guy at the shop when we picked up was super helpful and gave us a lot of useful information about the trails. The bikes were awesome and well maintained. Easy to return the bikes when we were done. Overall, 10/10 would recommend.

Rented bikes for the full family including a full suspension Transition Ripcord for my 8 yr old. Greg helped us with everything we needed to get out and enjoy the local trails. Great spot to get your bikes while visiting this MTB paradise!
