6Toll lady was very upset we didn’t see the cash only sign posted “wAy back there! ” (100ft beforehand) we had been driving for 5h prior to arriving. I’m sure she never travels and is just narrow minded. I’m avoiding this bridge today bc of her.
There’s nothing really interesting about this bridge, and it isn’t photogenic either.
Google’s price is wrong, it’s $2 to cross. Also if your a wider than usual vehicle it’s a narrow bridge so be prepared. With that said I love bridges, especially old ones like this. They have so much character to them.
Narrow, should not allow giant semis and RVs across. The port is trying to up the charge to $5 each way to pay for a new bridge. Lots of cars hit the railings or rip the mirrors off each other's cars. Not enjoyable to cross with the grates that pull your vehicle. Regularly closed, no pedestrian or bike access.
They take credit card. The drive can be nerve wracking - speed limit is 15mph. Nice views.
Beautiful views what an amazing place. Must go and visit here at Summer time.
