Hug Grill Buffet reviews
20The lady was very friendly and nice, seated ourselves and the food is so good! Very beautiful comfortable place to dine as a family! Sushi bar and desert bar and adult bar with wine!
It's a great deal if you are hungry. The grill is my favorite.fresh meat, veggies, noodles with teriyaki and spice! Grilled Salmon, ribs, ice cream. Coco at the front counter is amazing. Joe at the grill knows how to do it right! The cleaning ladies are responsive and always there to make things good.
This place has delicious food and the service is amazing. A great place to spend time eating, especially in groups with your friends or family! Definitely would recommend it! There are many different amazing options at this buffet. Loved it!
The restaurant was very clean. The staff was polite and attentive. The food was well cared for (kept stocked and the line was kept clean). My criticism of the restaurant is partly that the food lacked spice / flavor. The “ spicy fish “ was cooked perfectly, except it (like all the other food we tried) lacked spice / flavor. My main criticism about Hugs is, the food isn’t kept at a safe temperature. It’s just warm in the steam tray, almost room temperature when you get back to your table. This is the zone that bacteria thrive in.
So, clean restaurant. Good staff. Food is cooked to temp initially. But lacks spice/ flavor and not kept at a safe temperature.
And for the price they charge, there should be better sushi and at least some seafood.
Did the buffet for dinner. Sushi tasted old and too fishy. But everything else was good. There's a smorgasbord or everything. Service was okay.
The food selection here is great, staff is nice, and everything was kept clean. We will definitely be coming back.
Wow, what a selection! Most was decent, some not warm enough, but I don't see how they can serve that variety and keep it all fresh and hot.
Something was wrong with the food. My husband is throwing up after the meal and I have extreme acidity
Maybe on the weekends there is quicker turn around on the buffet. Meh food with great service.
Usually in buffet places it seems like there are many items but only a few tastes good, but over here mostly everything tastes really good. Each item has its own taste and looks. I would totally recommend going there in an empty tummy lol
I love the food and service and the atmosphere very much. It's clean and they're nice and the food is great
If you desire americanized Chinese cafeteria food in a restaurant catering to the geriatric set, Hug Grill is your place. Tasty? Not so much. Grease and salt abound, flavor does not.
On the plus side, there is a wide variety. Pricing is surprisingly low given the number of dishes served. Service is basic. You're not paying that much; don't set your expectations high.
Good selection, but not great quality. Meat products were tough and spicy items weren't spicy. Ice cream was good.
Okay to eat. There is alot of food options. My only issue is the restrooms. They need more attention (cleaning). Also, need better ventilation.
If you love buffet style food this is the place. This reminds me of a California style buffet! Family's new favorite place to come when we are in the neighborhood for soccer tournaments.
Great staff experience excellent food calming environment very relaxing will be recommending to family and friends
Got severe food poisoning from here (I believe salmonella based off my symptoms) and I didn’t even eat much, I was throwing up all night long got no sleep and 24 hours later am still sick (but improving at least) Not worth the risk, I payed $45 just for me and my boyfriend to get extremely sick and the food was bland.
Overpriced but a VERqY good selection of food, big restaurant inside lots of places to sit and friendly helpful staff drinks included. I wish The food wasn't cold. The cooked oysters were cold and slimy. I wish They had lit parking.
Please stay away from this place! If other one star reviews do no convince you, enter at your own risk. You pay upfront at the door and then when you enter you are greeted with the office fluorescent lighting. Inside the dining room. Then you stroll down the buffet line and everything looks and smells like it’s been there all day long. The seafood smells terrible and the sushi smell sour and rotting. The styrofoam dishes for your soup and ice cream is a lovely touch as well. The overall quality of the food is poor and not fresh. I left without finishing my plate and I have no regrets. Everything tasted a bit off and I was afraid to get food poisoning. To my experience, the cost cutting was the main theme of the buffet and the fact that it is open all day long with hardly any food turn over, is a major concern. Plus the fountain drinks were made with chlorine tasting water in dirty cups! I was not able to get a refund and when I mentioned my concerns in a polite way, I was scolded by the staff who took my payment. Obviously, this place doesn’t care about repeat business or providing a good experience. Save your money and spend it in the Next Level Pinball Shop and Museum! At $22 a person, it’s a better choice.
Variety of excellent food although lack of grill, service not very good due to lack of staff and pleasant atmosphere although music is missing.
