Hutch's Bicycles, Bend OR

Dropped by during my lunch break to see if they can help me learn about my valves and how to inflate my tires. The repair associate came out to help me and offer suggestions using their free provided equipment.

I had a 2 hour wait for a bus at the Hawthorne bus station and was walking around in the hot Bend 2 PM sun. I stopped in the parking lot of Hutch's for a moment and one of their employee's came out to talk to me. I was expecting to be told to move along; instead the Hutch's employee pointed to the side of their building, which was shaded by a a tree and had a breeze blowing cool air between their building and the one next door. He told me to rest there if I wanted to. And I sat there for over an hour, completely unmolested by any of the Hutch's employees, until it was time to catch my bus. I was blown away, and so grateful, for the kindness and empathy shown by the Hutch's employees, even though I never set foot inside the store. A thousand Thank Yous to Hutch's for letting me chill when I had literally no where else to be.

Great friendly service. Unfortunately was charge $18 for a little bit of tire sealant to get my tubeless wheel to seal. It already had a good amount and just needed a little more to fully seal. REI charged me $4 for the same amount

Awesome service. Stopped in on a busy summer day with a broken chain as we were passing through town. They replaced it and checked everything out within 10 minutes, knowing we were on the road. Very knowledgeable and helpful - highly recommend.

The will break pieces on your bike then charge you to fix it. Crooked shady people.

Super nice shop! I was on a long ride when my chain was super dry and these guys lubed it up and made the next 80miles a lot quieter
