Hyak County Park reviews
14Love the field& Picnic area and the river although it's q fast moving one.not suitable for children.
I love my river and I utilize hyal park boat ramp often for drop off and pick ups on my floats. It has nice picnic area, bathrooms and beautiful scenery and tranquility
I love this place, especially when floating/kayaking/paddling the river. Pro tip: put in at Willamette Park and get out here = perfect river experience. There's even a dock and boat ramp.
Bring sunscreen, as there isn't much coverage while on the river, and expect it to take anywhere from 5 - 8 hours, depending on water flow and whether or not you have a paddle. ️
Float trip down to Bryant Park is a perfect short trip that's super refreshing and makes you feel like you're way far away from the city.
Hyatt Park is in the middle of Albany and Corvallis nice quiet clean good bathrooms I like to go do my metal transfer papers and my route organization and receipts and just basically organize things so it's a good place to fill out paperwork and take a breather
Beautiful, quiet riverside park. Great for picnicking- several tables set up, a benched overlook, and places to lay down a picnic blanket in the grass.
Nice place to set off into the river. Good amount of shade. Good amount of long parking spots for trailers/boats/etc. Not likely a place a young kid will be excited about on its own. Decent distance off the main roadway for safety and noise and yet still close enough to be convenient.
It is a beautiful Park. But you got to watch out for poison oak or poison ivy it's everywhere out there so be careful
It has a great boat ramp to the river and the park itself is great for picnics. Not much to explore.
We stopped here, complete with a small picnic lunch. Beautiful day to watch the river flowing by. Very peaceful, although we stayed in the car to stay warm.
This place is a great little stop off top stretch out if you're traveling through Albany or Corvallis. It is also equipped with a boat ramp if you want to bring your boat out for the day.
Quaint clean roadside park along the river. A perfect absolutely perfect place to have this county park with its clean restrooms ready to go! It would be a nice place to stop and have a picnic and enjoy a nice afternoon but for this stop it was a critical restroom break that was needed and Hyatt county Park did not let us down. I say this in all seriousness when we left there was a line of five cars all stopping to use the facilities as well. Somewhat comical but very very much appreciated.
One of my favorite spots on the Willamette River. A great summertime swim spot and easy out for River floaters
Park is mostly used for entering or exiting the water so I find it a nice place to take my dogs for swimming and running in the fields. Has a few picnic tables as well.
