I Want Seconds reviews
17Amazing atmosphere wonderful people! I've never felt so good buying clothes as I do going here!
This place is such a special find! Lots of really nice quality cute clothes in a range of sizes and styles, which is nice. Goth, retro, vintage, and rockabilly clothes were all on the racks when I visited, as well as a nice selection of Masculine clothes. Art, prints, jewelry, and other fun things from local artists in addition to clothes. Fun accessories and shoes too. Owner is very kind & I'm really happy that this shop exists.
Super amazing thrift store. I felt welcome as soon as I walked in by the staff and they had a masculine section which just made me so happy that I could find clothing in my style. Thank you again! I will definitely be back!
The best thrift store in Portland! Everything was lovely from the moment I walked in. Love how organized the inventory is. Staff is helpful and friendly, they set up a try on room for me taking clothing items I had picked up an was holding to put them in a dressing room for me. That kind of experience makes the trip feel so luxurious! On top of that, their dressing rooms feel very secure! AND there is a fan in each one that ensures you're comfortable while trying on your thrift haul. Such good deals and such sweet people? I will definitely be coming back!
This is an amazing store. Very spacious with a lot of clothes to choose from. Sizes up to a 6x! A wide variety of clothes from business to gym clothes. Reasonably priced. The dressing rooms are huge and have fans. Just overall a great experience here and we'll be back.
This place was a breath of fresh air. Never have I had so many different options all in my size.
Glad to have a secondhand store that is specifically for plus size as it is so hard to find while thrifting!
staff was friendly but overall this place is super mid
racks were flimsy and over stuffed, selection is no more curated than the plus section at Goodwill, and the name feels like it is in poor taste
I’ve always had a lot of anxiety about shopping. I was shocked to find so many cute items in my size. Really cute shop with tons of cute accessories too. I’m so glad I stopped in. I’ll be back for sure.
I had the distinct pleasure of taking my girlfriend to this store a couple of weeks ago and it was simply amazing. Before going to this store, my girlfriend had only worn a dress once in her life and had some body image issues that she was working through.
Well from the instant we stepped into the store, we immediately knew we were in fantastic hands. Kelsey greeted us and we told her that we were there to get some clothes for my girlfriend suitable for a couple of formal dinners and also to upgrade her wardrobe. Kelsey was FANTASTIC! She asked my girlfriend a series of questions and then immediately got to work handing us things to try, including dresses. She also offered to give honest critiques on any outfits my gf was interested in and my gf took her up on the offer by asking for her opinion several times. She treated my girlfriend like family or a close friend and my girlfriend actually smiled while clothes shopping which I have never seen before.
We left the store with many clothes, and my girlfriend said it was the most satisfying shopping experience of her life. Most importantly, Kelsey was able to break down some of those body issue my gf was struggling with and now she absolutely LOVES wearing dresses. The whole experience was heartwarming for me; seeing my gf get clothes that she truly loved and looks great in was one of the highlights of my year. We will definitely be back many times and if you are looking for plus-size clothing you are doing yourself a disservice if this store is not your first stop
Good selection of plus size resale and vintage with friendly employees and just great vibes.
OBSESSED! I had such an amazing experience here and found so many cute stuff that actually fit me. To all my beautiful big queens, please come here!
This store is amazing! Vibrant selection of clothes and accessories for plus size folx and also jewelry/sunglasses/shoes for general peeps! Cool art prints for sale too! Kelsey and Jeremy are taking a risk to have this space exist and have the courage to make this small business for an underrepresented community! Go check them out! I LOVE my purchases of colorful earrings, skirt, and shoes! Thank you!
Although I'm just visiting, this store has given me the most positive and inclusive shopping experience I've ever had. I actually cried from happiness in the dressing room. This store offers so many options and sizes in tons of different styles. They also offer cute accessories, stickers, and pins!
I’m really glad that I Want Seconds took over for Fat Fancy. It’s nice to know I’ll always find my size and the new owner seems really nice. However, it seems like the prices of the clothes increased quite a lot. I used to be able to get shirts for about 5-15 and now a lot of them are 15-25. The pants also shot up quite a bit in price. Seeing as these are pre owned I’d hoped they’d be cheaper but I guess ya gotta pay for being plus size. (I know prices in general are going up but thrifted/pre-owned items should not be this much)
I wish they had more masculine clothing also but they had a good selection of what I was looking for!
Friendly, chill, fun vibes. Bangin prices ($5-15 for most items, with some premium goods priced per item), plus a vast selection of sizes (14-34+) and styles. Most of the selection is “feminine” but there’s definitely something for everyone. They had a small section labeled “masculine” but I found goodies intermixed. Shoes, accessories, $5 bras, and ample sized fitting rooms (plus they’re cute as heck!). 10/10 recommend! We need more plus size fashion, period. Grateful to have this place and will be back with friends.
This was one of the most positive experiences I’ve had in clothing shopping. As a transwoman I am always so anxious of going shopping In public over fear of being judged, but the owner Kelsey (who by the way, stellar fashion taste) was so extremely welcoming and made my experience so warm and inviting. I found a bunch of brand name clothes (torrid score!) that were fun and affirming to wear. There’s a little something for everyone and the earrings and stickers near the register are ADORABLE.
Will be back in the future!
