Ibendoo ramen, Salem OR

I had been looking forward to being able to go here forever. I had the most popular ramen soup on the menu. It was okay. The egg, pork belly and the add-on of squid was all still cold. The waitress was quiet. She hardly even took time to take the order. It was weird. The restaurant was freezing and not very welcoming. Honestly just not worth the long drive (30 miles), it's kind of expensive for the small amount you get. My husband got the seafood ramen soup bowl I do not recommend that at all. It was disgusting. I gagged hard when I tried it. We were left feeling sick for the rest of the night.

Very good food. We had a couple appetizers and ramen. I was very impressed by the ramen. The chashu pork was some of the best I've had in years! Definitely multiple item on the menu that I would like to try. The staff was very friendly and attentive.quick service. I highly recommend! Will for sure add to my rotation!

I've been coming here off and on for the past six years, and the food is always great. I normally get the Kimche Ramen. It's slightly spicy but has a great blend of other ingredients that make it a pleasure to have so often. The guest I brought to dinner had the Beef Curry, which I also tasted and it was fantastic. So mellow and well prepared. The service was great, staff were friendly and got to our orders at a good pace. I would greatly recommend coming here for some comfort food!

We ordered curry beef don and the basic char siu ramen, both very tasty, could be a bit lighter on the salt but overall pretty good!

Server was great! Food fanfreakintastic! My fiancé and I have never been offered to go sodas before coming here. Totally would recommend to my friends and family who love Asian cuisine!

The good was so good, i had the short rib- tasted really good and was cooked well.the char siu pork bun- the sauces were so savory and it was just drool worthy.last was the deep fried gyoza- fried evenly and was a perfect crunch.

The food was so delicious wow! First time here and we will definitely be back! We loved the Crispy Chicken Ramen and Crispy Chicken Bao buns!

Waitresses and cooks are awesome! Our faves are the tsukemen, curry, stir fry, age of tofu, short ribs, and buns. So delicious! We haven't tried the variety of drinks but people say they're tasty.

It’s my first time in and I know I’ll be back! Great selection of both ramen soup and fried ramen with your choose of pork, beef, vegetarian and vegan! There are unique Asian inspired alcoholic drinks. I will definitely give those a try next time. I ordered vegetarian fried noodles and I’m pleased with the presentation and amount of perfectly cooked fresh vegetables on my plate. There are many variations of toppings to add, like shredded nori, pickled radish, eggs and tofu. There are also other offerings like pork buns, japanese chicken thighs and chicken wings. Server was attentive, upbeat and helpful. Food was ready quickly. The music is good, the decor is trendy and very clean.

I've come here twice and get the veggie ramen as I am vegan. The food is OK. I'm not blown away-the broth feels a little plain and fried tofu isn't well put together. Overall, it's one of the few places I go out to eat with others as Salem/Keizer doesn't have much to offer for vegans but I'd like them to experiment with their veggie broth and have more options.

It's the worst tasting ramen I have ever had. The broth wasn't very flavorful and the noodles tasted like pasta. The prices were about the same as other competitors, but the amount of toppings was less. Overall, this was just in general a terrible ramen shop.

This is my favorite ramen place in town. My wife and I love dropping by whenever we get a craving and adore coming here. The staff is super friendly, the prices reasonable, and you can customize each bowl of ramen by mixing and matching all of there options on the menu, which is great for somewhat picky eaters like myself. The takoyaki is also really good and we always start with it when we visit.

Probably the best ramen in Salem. Other places we have tried were either inedible or not ramen (cut up hot dogs in sea water). If Godzilla hit Salem he would skip laser eyeing this place because it's so good. After some experimentation I have discovered that for enough money they will make it exactly how I like it. Everyone who loves ramen should eat here.

I wish I knew about this place sooner! The Ramen is the best you can get short to going to Japan. And if you go as a family or small group, there's an Auto 20% gratuity on table of 5 or more.only mentioning because it's the first time I've noticed such a thing being applied to a group smaller than 8 people. Granted it is a small place so. *shrug*. Don't intend on bringing that many people anyway so don't much apply to me.ps.if you open at 11. Please be open lol.

Went in on 05/02/2023 for my husbands birthday dinner and this place never disappoints. My husbands favorite dish is the Char Siu Ramen with extra egg and char siu and my go to is the Char Siu Donburi, both are great with the spicy chili oil. Service is always great unfortunately we didn’t get our waitress’s name it’s usually the same two girls and they do a wonderful job.

I really do like this place, they serve some really good food their little chicken sandwiches are really yummy and their little short ribs are just delicious along with everything else. But why I'm writing this review is because of the women that work there and serve you. I don't know what their have going on in their own lives but they seem to be grouchy every time that we've come in there. There's a lot of people that want jobs and there's a lot of people that do really good at their jobs but these ladies especially one in particular is very rude every time we've been in there and now the other waitress Waits on us and all we ever did was ask for more napkins. They act like high-school.and today they were training their dishwasher to make food so today the dishwasher made my food, but they were very nice to re make it.then it was awesome. My rant is over.
