Impact Performance Training

My wife's family lives in Newberg and as we were visiting I was hoping I could find a place to train. I dropped in to Impact Performance training and was immediately greeted by professor Bryan. I asked if it was ok to drop into a class and he said absolutely!

Professor Bryan taught a few excellent techniques from DLR to X and taught in a systems based approach that gave different directions based on what your opponents reactions are. This in my opinion is the best way to learn because you understand the "why" behind what you're doing. After the techniques we proceeded to train 6 or 7 rounds. You know it's a great place to train when the professor rolls with the students. Fortunately for me it was a small class due to the holidays and I was able to train with Professor Bryan a couple of times. He was precise, deliberate, and very highly skilled. I learned alot from him during the techniques but also during our rolls. He was also gracious enough to provide me some feedback to help me improve my game. I've trained in gyms all around the world and it's rare for a visitor to get that kind of kind treatment. I can only imagine how much Professor Bryan invests in his students.
