Fabulous location right on the river. Welcoming and friendly staff, beds are super comfortable with lots of pillows.

Great find when I had to stop driving and thought I was in the middle of nowhere! Beautiful room with the river outside the door, lovely helpful service.

Our group of 4 had a fantastic time on the river with our guide Bo. He made our rafting day fun, safe and full of laughter. We didn't get to stay at the lodge but lunch was great, and the lodge grounds beautifully landscaped along the Deschutes. We all agreed we will definitely be back to stay at the lodge and do a multiday, and we hope we get Bo again! Thank you for a great experience!

We had a super good time. Definitely coming back. Staff where all friendly. The food was so effn bomb. I'll be coming back just for the food. It was that good. The area is just beautiful. River everywhere. We floated with Jody. He's a great guide and hilarious. Thanks for the good time.

Did a 3 day trip down the lower deschutes with Loren and Jodi as guides. A+. Well run operation. My family of 4: wife, 2 kids (14 and 11), and I had a great time! The guides made it fun and memorable. Thanks so much!

Rooms were very clean and inviting. Service was perfect for the hotel, restaurant and bar. We did the river rafting and had the BEST time ever! Brian our guide was the absolut King when it came to guiding over the rapids, feeling safe and having a blast! Can't wait to go back!

We ate here on our way to raft the John Day. Food was yummy, they had GF buns for burgers which made me happy.
Staff was lovely and super patient with my busy toddler. Will eat here again for sure!

Food was below average and the beers weren't what we ordered. Of the 3 restaurants in maupin this was not great.

I had a spare tire on the car when I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon on June 23. The front desks both on duty at the night and in the next morning helped me to fix my trouble. Finally I replaced a new tire in The Dalles, and thus completed my journey.

I am so sorry for not asking the names of the staff who helped me. However, I will put them in my heart for the rest of my life. Without your kind assistances I won't be calm, peaceful and safe. The hotel was a warm shelter to me.

Met up with friends with dogs to romp around, stayed two nights. Ice-machine was broken and the freshly scented air in our rooms was overwhelming, required half a day of airing-out offensive toxins. Otherwise easy getaway on the River with restaurant and bar. Go early if you plan to eat there. Their best menu items were gone before seven. If you're planning to partah, rent the whole place.

We stopped here are an early trip down the Deschutes. The food was great. Nice to have a restaurant and bar in the hotel. They were very friendly and accommodating.

This place is the definition of “quaint”. Absolutely beautiful spot right on the river with a lovely restaurant and bar attached to the hotel. An impeccably nice and helpful staff runs the place, and you can usually even find a wonderful little doggo of the owners in the lobby during working hours. I would recommend this place to anyone from passersby’s to fly-fishers to families looking for a low-key vacation to the wonderful town of Maupin. Happy stays!

We drove into town and saw this oasis. The location is amazing and the property is beautifully maintained.
Everyone we interacted with was friendly and efficient. Some of the highlights of the stay were chatting with other guests around the fire pit, relaxing on the wooden swing at the river's edge, and the beautiful scenery.
A recommendation for guests: bring earplugs and a sleep mask. Our room was on the top floor, with a vaulted ceiling and there is an uncurtained window that let in bright light in the early morning. The earplugs would have been handy to block the noise from the train and plumbing. With those two items, I would gladly stay there again.
As a reminder, there are no televisions in the rooms, except for the suites. I loved it!

My husband and I always make it a point to stop for the night, when passing through. We just love the atmosphere the Imperial River Company provides.

Love this place and have stayed several times over the years. Location is perfect right on the D for a relaxing evening after fishing hard all day.

I have stayed here several times and will continue to return when I'm in the Maupin area. Such a cute and rustic hotel located directly off the Deschutes River. Check-in and check-out are easier than any other hotel, and when dealing with staff they are charming and extremely helpful. Plenty of outdoor quaint seating to enjoy the great outdoors along with a gas-fed fire pit, to include swing seating right along the river. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be!

Took my youth group rafting here and it was THE BEST!

Bryan was our guide and hands down the best guide there! We asked for Bryan’s help to get our youth leader off his raft to which Bryan responded, “So I’ve been dreaming up this scheme for awhile now called the damsel in destress. ”

Bryan successfully executed each sneak attack and got every single rafter off his raft which we affectionately named “The Barrel”!

10/10 recommend the Imperial Rafting Company! Only word advise- get Bryan as your guide!

PS- Bryan’s Boss, GIVE THIS MANZ A RAISE!
