Iron Mountain City Park reviews
17Ample parking and clean restrooms. Nice trail for dog waking. Follows a road for a bit, so a little noise, but overall good. Kid play area looked pretty neat. Would be nice to have a sign showing the trail map and distances.
A discovery a good friend made - when did THIS park open? During the pandemic? Clean, stocked restrooms and well marked trails.
A nice city park with picnic tables, a children's play area and covered area. There are good flushing toilet facilities as well. The area is a former mining location from the late 1800s. There are several trails with moderate elevation gain. The parking lot is in good condition, but lacks trees of any significant size, meaning your car will get hot on hot days. Generally, it's not crowded.
Good park for the area. The restrooms are clean and maintained. There are decent gravel trails. Some parts of the trail are narrow with exposed tree roots, so be careful. One path is great to view the horses nearby.
Really beautiful park, great easy mountain biking trails. Highly recommend for anyone looking to take a nice evening walk or ride
The 3 year old grandson requests this park by name. Well scaled for the location. Interesting bird life, stream, woods to walk in.
Sadly, the restrooms were unavailable due to vandalism/Covid. Peaceful, otherwise. Nicer if children could have been there enjoying the spaces available to them.
Pretty forest trail (s) wind alongside a farm. I took my dog exploring here and he made a few new friends on the narrower segments of the path. There is easy parking, bathrooms, and a playground. Nice place for a walk.
Quiet nice walking path that links to the new park on Iron Mountain road. You can do a large loop around the base of the 'mountain' then zigzag up to the upper trail and find your way back down. Pretty much only locals go there as this trail is not on many maps.
Pretty park out in the sticks. No city to bother you. Peace and quiet. And some horses off in the distance. Maybe a few ducks in the pond too!
First time visiting this place. Was pleasantly surprised. It was a nice little hike, not strenuous, or too short of a trail like I was expecting. Great trail for walking dogs as well.
Nice little park in the city. The parking area is really big, trails are well maintained. Dogs are allowed, but have to be on a leash (although it seems most people ignore this). Hiked all the trails and it was a total of 3.2 miles.
Excellent park for a calm, relaxing visit. Has a nice long trail. Go left young friend, go left. There is a brief uphill climb A small slice of land can give so much.
A beautiful place for walking and running. The LOHS cross country team frequents the park for hill training. Shaded, very steep!
Great location for a park and was very well maintained. Nice views and the equestrian area in the distance is fun to watch. Nice place for a city park, can't wait to check out the rest of the trails on my next visit.
Very nice little park. Well designed with enough parking. Small kids area and short shaded trails.
Park has a one slide and a sand pit for kids.good place for a walk on the trails.nice dog walking place.
