Island Cafe reviews
15The view is very nice. The shrimp was very tasty. The hummus is good also but too sweet for me.
Love the location, atmosphere and very friendly employees!
The food was not as good as I had hoped, but the place is fun, especially on a nice day
A classic hangout on the water, perfect for a summer lunch. The fish and chips are my current favorite. The halibut pieces are larger than others offer and the fish was juicy. The fries are beer battered) They will close mid October for this year. So go beforehand and grab a table just on the water.
This is such a great place to eat on a sunny day. Sitting right on the water and the food was Great! Excellent service
Our experience and food were great.had the Clam Chowder.came hot and had plenty of clams.had the 3 piece halibut fish and chips.came hot. 3 big pieces and crispy fries as we ordered.
There's often an 10 to 20 minute wait but the food is terrific and I highly recommend the clam chowder
Almost dont want to review this place so other's can't find it! Haha. Feels like a fun secret. Love taking long time or born and raised Portlanders here who've never been. Hidden gem. Great cocktails. Sit in the bar! Grab taffy on your way out.
I got chicken strips. The fries were really good and the ranch was amazing. The chicken was good but for $14 dollars I do wish they gave more than three. But in all, the food was great and the place looked nice.
Fun place to visit. Nice view and good food options. I would be interested in more plant based/vegan options. But otherwise, it's a great experience.
First time trying halibut and IT WAS AWESOME. Fellow merpeople would love the tiny shop next to it Happy mermaid is awesome as well. You can get a necklace.shell included.and put your own pearl into nacklace that comes from shell. Love love love this shop
Great atmosphere on the water with boats floating by and even ducks coming up on the dock to say hello. Food and service was perfect.
Always great food but sometimes too long a wait. Need to add on but probably not possible-we will still frequent this wonderful establishment.
Mediocre food. Overpriced for what was served. The hummus platter included veggies that had obviously been cut and left in the fridge overnight (dry sponge cucumbers, dried out crrot sticks). The clam chowder was lukewarm and bland. The mojito was heavy on the rum and light on flavor. Overall it was ok.
Big portions and good food. Extremely crowded and slow af service. Probably won't go back but it was kinda cool.
Wow, what a super find on Hayden Island. Waterfront restaurant with quick service and great tasting food. We docked at their nice guest dock with the boat. Surrounded by lots of sailboats and houseboats. Dog friendly with water dishes nearby under the umbrella shaded tables outside.
