If the prices on the shelf were actually the prices charged, I wouldn't be so inclined to think this is some scam.
Depending on which cashier takes your order, the prices can fluctuate greatly.
Seems like the crew is more interested in standing around cat-calling and harassing people they assume homeless rather than doing their actual job.
