Pure fire. A big restaurant with plenty of seating, indoor and out, an easy online ordering system, and delicious food, much of which is vegetarian friendly. They know their carbs too, so please, get the hashbrowns and biscuits.

Definitely overrated. The vegan wrap and psl we're decent but the scrambles my other party got weren't great. Also hash was super salty

I appreciate the accommodation of dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan), and everyone in my party seemed to really enjoy the food. The hash browns are quite possibly the best I have ever had, and the homemade hot sauce is also delicious. Was nice having so many options for juices for mimosas, and the chai latte was good (more on spicy side than sweet).

All three of these stars go to the kitchen. The food was fantastic. The seating was awful, we were sat in the gutter, 10 feet away from traffic on Hawthorne. It was impossible to carry on a conversation and we got to enjoy vehicle exhaust the entire meal. There was no service, food ordering was done through their website. This is understandable if they are short staffed, as I know most places are. I certainly will not be returning until real servers are brought back, and they stop seating people in the gutter.

Awful was told to leave because of my beliefs that the vaccine is not a good choice for me but that’s fine because there rude and food was not good

Love this place. Was sad to see it closed during the early pandemic days. Very happy with the food and service! I live close by and can walk there early for a quick table.be ready to wait (its worth it) if you come at peak brunch hours.

Currently need proof of vaccination to sit inside, but there is also a lot of outdoor seating. Make sure you bring a really warm jacket if you plan on sitting outside because most of the table sit in the shade and it's Portland!
I have been coming here occasionally over the last six years, and the food has been consistently delicious. Large quantities and great prices. The menu is so vast, I've never ordered the same thing twice because I want to try everything!

Excellent breakfast! They have many vegan options. Highly recommend their vegan waffle, a chia seed batter with blueberries, and vegan scramble, very good.

They have biscuits and gravy, french toast, eggs, scrambles, omlets, etc. Something for everyone.

I went with some no vegan friends and one of them ordered one of the vegan scrambled and loved it!

Got the bacon beni. Presentation was meh, bacon looked a little too crispy and the hollandaise was poured on one side of the plate. I asked for my hash browns crispy and it looked like they delivered, then I tasted them. I have heard that the ideal way that a fried potato is supposed to be is crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. I’ve had versions of this over the years, but not the perfection that these were. It was like someone put a beautifully crispy blanket over super creamy mashed potatoes. An unbelievable textural experience. It was the benchmark that chefs strive for. We were a little pressed for time, but I savored every bite. The spicy tomato jam was a complex mix of sweet, spicy, deep spices, and savory. I was a little hesitant about the jam because I’m not a fan of the acid that tomatoes have, but this was another level of depths of flavors and profiles. Hollandaise was a little flat, but still good. The eggs were perfectly poached. Portland touts itself on being a breakfast town and the experience of this restaurant show that.

The turmeric tea and salmon hash. Huge piece of smoked salmon and so many choices. With their app ordering there was no pressure to get the order in right away. You can order another tea really simply. And the service was fast. Great place to come to. Parking was on the street a few blocks away and we had no issues…

Honestly I have no idea why there is a line here all the time. Mediocre food. Biscuits were like hockey pucks and minimal vegan gravy. Vegans can have it. I don't need to go back.

Excellent breakfast centric restaurant. Variety of options for most every dietary need. Incredibly Covid conscious with a plethora of outdoor seating and to-go options. Was a bit on the oily/buttery side but otherwise wonderful flavors. Coffee and Bloody Mary wasn’t bad and several more options for those looking for cocktails.

So sad that this Portland establishment has fallen to segregation and medical discrimination. Sadly, we will never dine here again because of it. Wake up, Portland.

Discovered this place a couple years ago while on a business trip. I was very pleased to come back again and enjoy a great Eggs Benedict!

JAM can get busy on weekend and on weekdays, but its worth the wait. They take your number and give give 10 mins to report back after your table is ready. Parking is a hassle here, best option is to park in the parking opposite to JAM in front of the farmers market (which is a cool place to check out if you are waiting).

JAM makes it own JAM, which is pretty cool. Pancakes are a speciality, and they let you order just singles, so you can try out all of them easily. Coffee and cocktails are good.

Favourite dish - pulled pork huevos ranchero.

Tip - outside seating can get chilly, but if you come prepared, getting a table outside is faster. Also go late like 1pm to get table pretty fast since they close at 2pm.

The service was friendly and very good. The Bloody Mary was excellent. The Cheech and Chong scramble was pretty disappointing considering the whole meal for 1 was $27. Waited about 35 minutes for a table on a Tuesday before lunch.

Had a nice breakfast there but I have to observe that the "Grand Marnier French Toast" was quite dry and closer to room temperature than hot. No hint of Grand Marnier as far as I could tell. And was advertised to come with blueberry compote but came, instead, with apple compote.

The coffee was excellent.

Let me start out with we are so excited to try this restaurant. Our kids live in the area and recommended it. We were greeted and the girl pointed to the table we could sit. Ordered coffee but didn't get any until our meal. The server never checked back. Food was cold and not good. I was asked for a tip when I ordered. If I knew my meal and my service was going to be the way it was there wouldn't have been a tip. Unfortunately maybe it was just because we were unvaccinated.
