My husband and I went here for an oil change today to get ready for our road trip. The staff are friendly, efficient and loves dogs. They gave our dogs dog treats and lots of petting Moon and Luna loves them. Jiffy Lube is our go to on car care.

Barbur Blvd location: Rude, argumentative and will try to upsell unnecessary services. Rear diff fluid replaced at dealership at 41k, tech (Steve) tried telling me it needed replacing at 46k when I went in for an oil change. He then tried to argue the car was throwing a service 6 code and there was nothing indicated by the car before bringing it in. Also, oil handprints on my leather seats.

I received an email follow up from Steve, who is evidently the location GM, reiterating that I had a light on my dash for the rear diff fluid to be changed. Which I still am curious about because there was no such service light visible anywhere on my dash. I reached out to Mike as per his response below prompted, and have yet to receive a follow up! Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS JIFFY LUBE EVER! Still trying to figure out how to get the oil marks out of my leather seats.
The service was nice but it’s just so overpriced in comparison to other auto shops I’ve been too
Roy the manager, does a great job managing his crew. I go to this particular jiffy lube because I trust him.
Service at first was great, had a great experience. Got an oil change, changed a filter engine flush (dumb move on my part to opt in to this). I drove 30 miles and my truck was over heated, opened the hood to find the coolant tank bone dry. I grabbed my other car to get coolant, poured it into the tank and the coolant is spewing out from somewhere I cannot see. I called back the same day and the response of the person I spoke to was "Well, I hope you can figure it out". Zero responsibility or accountability taken. You can see in the pictures that it was clearly spraying inside of the engine bay. Had to get a tow truck, $600.
I used this business to get an oil change but will not in the future. The price was way out of control, employees were not very nice or welcoming, they didn’t vacuum which is a service I expect coming to jiffy lube especially paying $70 (with a coupon!) for a standard oil change and being the only customer there. Over all very disappointing.
Horrible customer service. Very expensive and didn’t do all the things that were included as the website says like vacuuming and I am not even sure there was an inspection. My print up is very basic and vague without any indication of anything done other than fluid check and oil change. Definitely a waste of money.
The staff is friendly and efficient. I also recommend Jiffy Lube for the recommended transmission fluid replacements and radiator flush/fill.
I drive across town to this location because they have the best deals and I get treated with respect (important if you’re a young woman). Don’t want to jinx myself but each time I’ve gotten an oil change in under 20 minutes!
What a great team you have at the SW Barbur location! (Jiffy Lube#1004). Larry, Eric, Roy and Skyweir were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Hire more employees like these great guys!
Went to get an oil change. The nice people there said it didn't need it yet.topped off my oil and sent me on my way.
I pulled in. Only 2 cars ahead of me, and they said it would be 2 hours.
I don't think they were interested in taking my money.
The mechanics are fast, knowledgeable, and honest with repairs. They do brakes and tires too! Always coupons on the website
Service is ALWAYS inconsistent, depending on what location you use. Oil changes never include everything they say. Never see them fill tires or top off fluids. Employees are rude and untrained. I recently was charged for a top off, told I'd "already used my one free". The policy online is free top offs within 3000 miles. It's always like this. Always feel like they are trying to sell you things. I'm told something different every time, this belt is needing replaced then next time no mention. Recommending engine flush for a 20+ year old engine, which can actually ruin an old engine. I've had it with this poor service, not going to go again. Go elsewhere. Anywhere really would be better.
